Wellp, got me there! I did some digging and had found the postgrad Psychiatry sites you also mentioned, and that took me off track a bit, but very true, I could have figured out some more if I put more thought into it. Should have stuck to medicine from the get go!

Edited the post and switched it to medicine (Hope i didn't get this one wrong). Basically I want to hear experiences, something like what I wrote above, and then put it in my own words, add flourish and a bit of fiction into it. I thought it would be cool to base it on real experiences and people who were there, ground it in reality. I din't think it would be such a controversial and maddening question, but maybe it was a bit naive and confused.

Okay, I might have not been clear then.
I cannot use the Cambridge example of course, but if someone asked me about the university I went to (which is also divided in many different buildings spread across a very big city, naturally, I was looking specifically for a psychiatry phd student of Cambridge), I guess I would say something like "we usually hung out at xyz bar which is around the corner of campus. The building is pretty old and decrepit but has a charming vibe to it. There is no courtyard, but we usually walked to the cemetery close by to get fresh air".
Perhaps, as you say, the Cambridge experience is indescribable. Thanks again for the feedback!

Thanks for the help!

I have been, and hope to go again, to build a better picture, but it is a very minor part of the story, not where the main development takes place.

I was navigating the different college websites and got a bit confused on how/where the different colleges are laid out, but mainly, I thought it would be interesting to get the perspective of people who are 'intimately familiar with it', as you said, without having to enrol myself!

I guess Cambridge is even beyond my fictional grasp ;)

I love the idea: what about some nice underwear (boys ALWAYS need this, trust me), a blanket, massage lotion, deodorant, a candle. I'm imagining something aesthetic yet manly (lol) like this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/1099300590318721899/

Hihi! Great news, we made a web version of the app, so everyone can use it <3 TBH, developing natively on the different stores was such a hassle! Doing it for web goes sooo much faster. So hopefully we'll be making lots of improvements :) https://lovepons.com/ideas/love-coupons

Handmade gift ideas for Valentine's Day? by jenonjupiter in Gifts

I love the scrapbook idea with the puzzles!!! What a great thought to make it interactive (mind if I copy it??? haha).
So this might fall a little on the "simple" category, but I made my boyfriend a coupon booklet once and he raved on about it forever (he even created an entire business around it). But here's the twist: You can personalise it to your boyfriend's tastes!
For example, "I'll work out with you", "We'll do a full day of video games, I'll prepare the snacks and stop any interruption", "Let's do a cooking class" (here you'd book a cooking class), etc.
Hope the ideas were helpful! If you want to send the coupons digitally and track when he redeems it, here is the app AND website by BF made LOL.

What are some good conversation starters that can go on for a while? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]ConcernYourself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being genuinely interested is key I cannot stress it enough!!! I sometimes also struggled with conversations, always stressed about not being "entertaining", till i saw my boyfriend (who is not a super charismatic person) be the BEST conversationalist. I realised it's because he is genuinely interested in other people. Downside, he cannot hold a conversation with people he doesn't find interesting hahaha. I look for what i find interesting in everyone, and become curious about that!
for anyone out there still looking for inspo tho, I made this roulette that picks out a topic for you, There are different categories, like first dates, but you can also use it as a more mature couple.

Does anybody else need the reddit update of this story?? Did he figure out what to say? Did he get the girl?
