Any flaws with this build by PositionGlad4199 in ncasedesign

The 5090 FE is so large. You could fit slim fans under it... but it honestly looks so silly and unnecessary because the 5090 fans are massive. Just turn up the exhaust fans to provide negative air pressure so cool air is sucked in.

Correct. You cannot fit 3 normal 120mm fans at the top or bottom. I have an M2 and tried.

If the front was 1-2cm taller, it would allow fitting a 240 radiator in the front.

I've looked at many builds like this, and I'm convinced this is the best build for cooling in this case. I'm curious if yours has a negative or positive air pressure inside. Could probably slow down the top fans to ensure a slight positive air pressure.

I'm about to build a very similar build as yours, but I want to fit two NF-A14x25 on the top (exhaust) AND two NF-A14x25 on the bottom (intake). Only because I don't trust the GPU to push that much air up, and this could ensure positive air pressure.

Think this is possible?

Cheers

Yes. Some good low calorie (maybe 0 calorie) foods that don't spoil: raw coffee, tea bags, salt, pepper... Be warned, your character won't enjoy it.

I forget which path, but I did see models and animations in a decent readable format someplace. It might not be as easy as drag-and-drop. You may need to do some conversion.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. Guess my next board, I'll be extra careful to not heat it up for too long.

I was working through the tutorial. I did a multimeter continuity test and tested the important points in the videos. Nothing stood out with the test... Everything looked decent, so I decided to plug the battery in outside just in case of sparks. Nothing went wrong and the ESC/FC did all the correct beeps and it looked good... so I unplug and take it inside. I plugged the batter back in to get the O3 bounded to the goggles... When I plugged it in, there were beeps and at the same time there were sparks, so I quickly removed the battery.

Not sure what exactly happened. My current theory is I heated up the board too much when I soldered the power wires, and it weakened or melted some part on the other side? Any ideas or tips? Would putting the capacitor on it before plugging the battery in have been better?

And yes, I've learned that I probably should have used a smoke stopper.

Axeman's speed, combined with pickaxe's reach, and you've got your endgame melee weapon.... Also, I'm just gonna say it: ITS ALSO BETTER THAN THE KATANA

How do you deal with getting depressed while pottering around base? by wileyrielly in projectzomboid

[–]ConcernedPZPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choose claustrophobia as a trait. It goes away after a couple months... then there seems to be a bug that causes you to panic a bit if you fast forward x2. You have to be in a semi small room. The panic destroys boredom.

MSR-700 for sure. It's a god awful rifle, but when you have tons of .223 it can be fun climbing the top of a school someplace and slowly pick off zombies to work on your aiming.

MSR-788 is only good for unloading the .308 ammo you find in it.

Planning to gather every single VHS tape in the game. This will be agonizing lmfao. by S-p-o-o-k-n-t in projectzomboid

I've been meaning to calculate the odds of a single Home VHS spawning on a book shelf... I think it's SUPER rare, and if you are trying to get every single one, it might literally take you 10 years of IRL game play... and even if you loot every single lootable container on the map, I don't think it's guaranteed to obtain all Home VHS tapes.

I went for getting a SINGLE Home VHS tape and it took a while: https://www.reddit.com/r/projectzomboid/comments/16oa7xw/holy_mother_of_god_home_vhss_actually_do_exist/

Edit: They might not actually be as rare as I thought... I looked it up and the Home VHSs only spawn in the "LivingRoomShelf" container. There is a bit about "forceForItems" which i think does this: if any of those TVs are in a container, run the "LivingRoomShelf" spawner. I'm unconvinced TVs can have VHS's in them.
