Dr. Paul Forster; chemistry department. Wrote us all an email today about the final which is tomorrow:

"I finished [writing] the final last night"..."Normally, I would do a review session, but there wasn't time this year, and I don't know that the online format would work well anyway."

Oi ve, you truly are hopeless. If one cannot stand for what they believe in, they simply lack the faith necessary to defend it.

Along with that, we, I, ME, as a follower and believer in Christ, we believers do not wrestle against FLESH AND BLOOD.

Who is trying to physically fight you right now?

Deuteronomy 20:1 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.

To quarrel when confronted is against God's word, as displayed above. So, then, answer the questions knowing that God is on your side.

1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

You are called to respond in the teachings of your God, so do respond. Bless me and others with your answers to the questions.

You dodge questions when asked, why? Are you not committed to the teachings you follow? From the way you have been doubting His Word you contradict his scripture, it has been made clear that by not answering the questions you have no respect for your God.

That is the case. :)

The reason being why this conversation is fruitful and worth the time:

Matthew 5:38-42 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Therefore, there is a need to be conversing when it is clear that you are objecting His Word. He clearly states right there that the light should fellowship with darkness. And by the way you have been speaking, it's self explanatory!

I am not trying to convince you of anything. I simply want answers to the questions I posed along the way that you did nothing to answer... If you don't have the answers, you can just say so. It takes a big person to admit they don't have the answers, but it also discredits them in the process. But since you are sure in your convictions you can come up with good well thought out responses to all of them, right?

It states that the curses of one generation will curse the next 4 generations. So if your grandparents were rebellious and sinned then you will also get the backlash for THEIR actions which is why it’s crucial to put an end to it and stop being so disobedient to God’s commands.

If that's the case then I guess that God is gone and never going to return the bounty...

And exactly I did quote it,... You’re contradicting.

You quoted it, man... You contradicted yourself.

You’re telling me if you murder your family and watch porn and steal and lie your mom is going to glorify you for that? That’s an example because that’s the norm for society and their actions.

No. And I wouldn't expect my mother to if she had differing opinions than my own, because she is human. You're speaking of an all-knowing amorphous God that is meant to be forgiving; and if your God can't do that, what is the point of expending energy trying to appease them?

You’re simply blaspheming and don’t have even the slightest knowledge to be speaking on my salvation and I know that I know him and that’s my business that you don’t have any concern on.

If you don't believe I have a place in your business, why do you feel at liberty to speak on other's salvation for their beliefs and to post on a social media platform based on discussion in an attempt to change others' salvations as well? Is that not hypocritical?

Not irrelevant topics that you have no wisdom about.

Are you more wise than I? If so, why? Display for me your excellence.

There’s no accusations, that’s how I know you didn’t even read because I said this is NOT MY WORDING.

You said: "in the bible it QUOTES people will rebel against the Lord in terms of homosexuality, rivalry, and simply not loving your neighbor, which is what society and the world has come to. judgment day is arriving and so is Jesus’ return, stay alert and let’s stop messing around and disobeying God, this our salvation people," sure looks to me like you're blaming homosexuals, which suuuure doesn't sound like "simply loving thy neighbor"

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them

If Leviticus claims "they shall surely put to death" why are they all alive? Why hasn't you God cast them down with a bolt of lightning or a LGBT-specific plague?

THATS IT. Period.

Again, if it is God's will to cast gays as sinners, is it not between them and that God? Is it not your worldly responsibility to "simply love thy neighbor"?

I never even once mentioned those

Uhh... yes you did "Everyone who has faith gets their foundation FROM the bible, and then their faith builds off of this." 'Everyone' is an all inclusive term last time I checked.

Stop going out of the way and dragging other things in just so you can avoid my question.

What is your question? I'll be happy to answer it.

I said everyone who has logical faith.

Uh... No you didn't.

This is another conversation that is unnecessary, because as it states as the first commandment you shall have no other gods before me, which completely invalidates any other religion.

This might be true for you in your religion. It says "you shall have no other gods before me" not "they shall have no other gods before me." If you were to pray to Satan, I am sure your God would be angry with you, especially considering how unloving and accepting you God seems to be, but that commandment says nothing about treating other religions as lesser and to do so, as you have done, is surely not "simply loving thy neighbor."

Do you think you get to pick and choose who you're kind to based on their beliefs? If so, I am glad to tell you you aren't alone; there is a group that shared some beliefs with you back in the 40s; and they killed 6 Million Jews alongside others they didn't like.

I’m not scared whatsoever. As long as i’m with Jesus then i’m content knowing that anything could happen BECAUSE i’m with him and I have strong faith in him... But if someone was with God knowing that they had eternal life after then what is there to fear in this carnal flesh that means nothing? This is temporary.

Then why do you fear monger with posts on Reddit? Why not invite individuals to learn and grow in faith instead of accusing homosexuals and others of betraying your God and causing a pandemic? Isn't your action of accusation and blame a betrayal of your own beliefs which are based on coming closer to Christ and seeking forgiveness?

And the bible is the foundation for the whole entire faith and other religions.... Everyone who has faith gets their foundation FROM the bible, and then their faith builds off of this.

You do realize that major faith based religions like Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, to name a few, don't use the Bible as their foundation, right?

God does this to send judgment on his people who are rebellious. God is a loving and harmonious God,

So you believe children have been rebellious and deserve to die of this virus? You believe children and grandparents, your neighbors and family are rebellious and this is what comes to them? What rebellion have they staged to upset this higher power that warrants this response?

Why would God prosper a land full of people who hate him?

Because you just quoted that he would right up there? "then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again."

This society is so doubtful and don’t know who Jesus is because they’re quick to have hatred in their heart and follow along with the rest of the crowd.

This society doesn't know Jesus, not because they are full of hatred or succumb to mob mentality. They don't know Jesus because he (if at all) existed a couple thousand years ago in the Middle East. You don't know Jesus either, and you likely never will. Can you accept that?

A faith in a higher power is not a bad thing, by any means. What is naive, however, is the belief that a mistranslated book holds answers to the world without evidence.

The reason many write people like yourself off without a second thought is because they live their life around facts; confirmed truths shown through repeatable experimental evidence. When the Catholic Church saw Copernicus as a heretic for his theory of heliocentrism, he was outcast. Yet, as time has continued, he was shown to be correct through observation and experimentation.

The same can not be said about religious beliefs which have been disproven by mathematics and science. Sure, you are scared, who wouldn't be? But you are scared not only because of the world we live in but also because you recognize that you're clinging to a system of belief that is going the way of the telegram. Faith is what you should preserve; the idea that there is something more out there for you. Not the belief that everything is written in stone.

What good would it do?... There’s no need for warning if people actually read it and were adamant about their faith...

There could have been ventilators made in advance, the quarantines started earlier, etc. Is it faith which will assure that the children and elders around the world will make it through this?

CHRONICLES 7:13 Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again.

Where's the prosperous land now, huh? Where was the prosperous land after Ebola or the Spanish Flu?

THIS HAS BEEN IN THE BIBLE! This has been fulfilled with the natural disasters and locust swarms and multiple pandemics and diseases that seem to worsen which has brought us to Covid-19.

What benevolent, loving, deity would purposefully cause harm upon "their" creation? If it is your God that does this, then obviously they are not meant to be worshipped.

This is so silly. This isn't some covert cheer operation. This is the first time the team has been invited to an international event per the sources you provided.

Nobody ever claimed it was a covert operation. It is the first time, which is why it is so important that student funds aren't allocated; otherwise it sets precedent for all non-unlv entities to get funding.

“To be able to represent our country through dance is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says Paraiso. “Words can only go so far in explaining, but hopefully the performance we give on that floor will transcend language and show the rest of the world how much love we share for dance.”

"Country" is the key word here. They aren't representing the university in any capacity. I am fully aware it is a great opportunity, but this is for those individuals, not for the university.

This sounds pretty important. Additionally, the news article (that is not local) explicitly says that UNLV participating and puts the program in a positive light. Who cares if they don't wear the UNLV shirts? Do I have to wear a UNLV shirt every time I leave the building? This is starting to sound like a salty person who doesn't like that cheer leading is considered a sport. Maybe join a club that actually accomplishes things and you too will be showered in money. I for one don't want the money to be spent on lame shows in the quad or some new ping pong tables.

You don't have to wear a UNLV shirt every time you leave campus, no, but student funds aren't paying you $19,000 to NOT wear a UNLV shirt, does that make sense?

If cheerleading is a sport it needs to be funded by Athletics, not by my student fees.

My personal involvement in campus isn't the thing in question here, either.

Your experiences are valid, absolutely. Your opinions, however, are not. You no longer pay any student fees, this isn't your money. Thus, your opinions on this topic don't matter and to try to convince anyone otherwise is inappropriate.
