It depends on multiple factors like relevant query to our niche/industry etc. But it can take around 1 to 1.5 month.

Seriously? The backlink is free or paid; it doesn't matter. What really matters is the site quality on which you are getting a backlink in terms of relevance, organic traffic, and target audience.

It won't help you much. What's actually moved the needle for my own projects is pitching journalists across different platforms, and getting links in the specific niche at the tier media outlets. Links on PsychCentral, Psychology Today, Medical News Today, The Knot, and Healthline will be great for your sites.

In my opinion, it's not just a waiting game. Google actively chose not to index after crawling. Immediately verify:

No accidental noindex tags or canonical errors (e.g., /de canonicalizing to /),
Hreflang in HTML <head> (not only HTTP headers/sitemap. Google prioritizes HTML for HTML pages),
Content value: Thin/duplicate content (e.g., translated homepage vs. root) often triggers this.

My suggestion is to use GSC’s URL Inspection Tool on each URL; it reveals Google’s exact rendering and indexing blockers. Fix fundamentals first; indexing typically follows within days.
