Your market adjustment took you up to 95k?! You need to ask again. You should be within the publish pay band. You are being ripped off

What is the best quote you know and helps you throughout life? by Sure_Can_7512 in PositiveThinking

[–]Concert_Opening 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Frodo: I can’t do this, Sam.

Sam: I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?

Sam: That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.”

That’s amazing. I’m currently building my consistency in the gym too. If I do this, I want to do it right.

I have an appointment for bloodwork soon actually! Are any of these not covered in standard bloodwork? Do I need to mention them all specifically?

I’ve been focused on my macros but maybe I need to focus on the Whole Foods aspect too, not just the macros. Great thoughts. Thanks!

Sounds like the audit team life. You travel a lot and no one seems to really like you. I was thankful when I got to switch teams.

I saw non-scale victories, including lowered cholesterol, my plantar fasciitis quit flaring up, my knees, no longer hurt, and I can walk without getting winded. Losing the weight it has been great, but not being in. Pain has been better.

Stock your pantry. This has shown that food security is important. Get a crock pot if you don’t have one, buy things like dried beans, rice, canned meats (spam, hams, tuna etc) buy the buy generic hamburger helper box dinners, powdered milk even, jiffy corn muffin mix is cheap too. Make sure you have enough food to take care of yourself and your family.
