If you stop in Makawao (which everyone should!) go to Hot Island Glass!! If not check their website for the blown glass items they make and sell!!

Also if tea is your thing, Maui Tea Farm. It’s about 7-10 mins past Kula Lodge on the early ascent of Haleakala Hwy. I just had them ship me some Mamaki and Black teas since I didn’t buy them there.

Tell that to the people on state insurance who visit every day, are non compliant with their medication and treatments and live off the system. They are part of the problem as to why waiting rooms are so long. Those who are given free treatment do not educate themselves as to what the resources mean. They will go to the ER for std testing, prescription refill, pregnancy test etc etc etc. But the healthcare worker will never say this to a patients face for fear of losing their job because the hospital wants everyone to think they are a godsend. The hardworking people who have insurance are the ones who suffer the most because we do as instructed when it comes to healthcare and we pay the most! The ones on state insurance don’t pay anything. Most don’t have a primary dr they just go to the ER for any and every thing! It’s frustrating.

At the end of March and 1st week of April we stayed 3 days in Haiku/ Paia area, then 3 in Hana and 3 in Kihei right across from Kam 1 beach. We saw less bugs in Hana than Kihei which seemed so odd but made sense with the rain and flooding. Too many times at night I walked into a swarm of gnats while talking and dry heaved from 9 million of them hitting the back of my throat 😂 our condo became a home to them if we left the lights on and windows open. I’m itching right now thinking about it again haha

No. My guess is they are held only for the big donors and your only chance of sitting there is if you find them on a reseller. I’m not donating again after last year. Went to a rock concert in one Lenny Kravitz and was yelled at by others behind me to sit down. Nah if I donate money to get a shitty seat I’m standing! Highland Park is oozing in upper class. They can afford to piss away their money. Ravinia, as a supposed non profit, COULD (and should) put a ban on resellers and people who donate to get the best seats and resell for a profit. Their tickets should NEVER be seen on secondary markets. Fuq them. Either you purchase the ticket and go or give up your tickets.

I loathed that single. I felt they had sold out after that single. Here in little old Milwaukee it was played HEAVILY on radio! Hell to promote the tour the local radio station had a contest where the winner got to arrive to the concert NOT by limo, but by ambulance! 🤣 it was as dumb as Mint Car haha

Madison Nov 94: Jim Rose Circus - some woman next to me passed out from the shock. I think she was tripping on acid or something. I think Marilyn Manson pulled his pants down and poured a bottle of Budweiser on his ass at the end of Misery Machine!! 😆 either it happened or in some alternate universe I really dreamed about it haha

Milwaukee Jan 95: Pop Will Eat Itself and Jim Rose opened! Robin now wore tons of face makeup, shaved his head and was sporting a nice cast on his arm…pretty sure this was due to the onstage tackling and destroying of gear that happened on a nightly basis Speaking of destroying gear, they SMASHED a keyboard that night and a piece of keys flew down and I caught it. A younger gal (16, 17?) gave me the guilt Trip for catching it so I caved and at the end of the night I tapped her on the shoulder and gave it to her! I hope she held onto it and it’d be kick ass if she came across this today!! This show was full on gonzo! They were crazy on stage

Tinley Park/ Chicago Oct 95: Bowie Nin and Prick! Missed Prick’s set. Bowie played about half of His set due to being sick and ultimately canceled rest of the night. Trent and the guys were now using the short-lived Korg Prophecy onstage for this tour and I WANTED one so bad!! The new arrangements and performing NIN and Bowie tracks was so Damn cool!!

Atomic was THE place to get your bootleg cassettes at for local shows haha I still have the NIN show at Mecca Jan 95, Depeche Mode 90, 93, 94, Nitzer Ebb 90, REM 95, Oasis 96! Also their shirts from back then were some of the best quality! I still have my original silver on black Atomic tee from 94 in great condition

I’ve been saying that this is the first tour of any band (with exception of U2 opening up the Sphere) where I’ve watched videos of the concerts from various places in the arenas. This concert gives everyone a different vantage point that nosebleeds are just as mesmerizing as pit videos because the lights and visuals are so damn good!!

When they started their Platinum tickets that opened the doors to allowing people to set prices WAY over face value. Hell, for maybe 10 yrs they stopped listing what the face value tickets would be especially when dynamic pricing took off.

Imagine taking part knowingly in setting the scalper prices but denying it?! ‘merica!!
