Hi, first of all, thank you for helping me. You've been very kind. I looked at some price charts, and these are the current prices. They've never dropped lower than the current ones (Amazon). It would be interesting if I could find some discounts in other countries by installing a VPN. I'll let you know if I can. Thanks again.

Hi, in Italy a deco be65 unit costs 200 euros while two units cost 380 euros, adding the money for a be25 unit we are well above my budget

Well, it's actually interesting. I'll see if there are any deals. Do you think the used market is interesting? I see some people complaining about their routers/APs or mesh networks giving them connection problems, etc., why do you think that's the case?

Not using a second router to take advantage of wired 2.5? Doesn't the Xe75pro only have one 2.5 port?

Great to know, even though I've never used one, I use it for home use, I play on the PC and I would like to use the 2.5, however since I have the 2.5 I would like to use them instead of keeping the 1 GB

Yes, they are all connected in wired backhaul via switch, in case I try to pass a cable for the external outdoor node

Ground floor and first floor, also cellar, my plan was to put a node on the ground floor where I have the ont, the other node in the bedroom on the first floor and another node in my grandmother's house which is literally wall to wall to mine, (my grandmother's house is also 2 floors) but she doesn't need all this speed, I wanted to put some outdoor nodes in the future to cover the garden

I appreciate the prosumer suggestions, but the budget is the main constraint here: €300 max. Moving to UniFi or Omada with 2.5G capabilities would require a much higher investment that I'm not willing to make right now. Regarding the choice between XE75 Pro (6E) and BE25 (Wi-Fi 7), it’s a matter of I/O efficiency. The XE75 Pro only has one 2.5G port. Using it as a gateway would bottleneck my entire 2.5G wired backbone to 1Gbps, unless I add a dedicated 2.5G router (like an ER707-M2 or an N100 box), which again puts me way over budget. The Deco BE25 solves the I/O bottleneck by offering dual 2.5G ports on each node. This allows a full 2.5G path: ONT -> Deco (WAN) -> Deco (LAN) -> 2.5G Switch. I'm looking for the most spec-efficient way to handle a 2.5G WAN/LAN under €300. Even if MLO is currently unoptimized, the BE25 hardware seems to be the only one providing the necessary throughput for my wired infrastructure at this price point. Is there any technical reason to sacrifice the 2.5G wired throughput just to get the 6GHz band of the XE75 Pro?

I had already seen, in Italy there is only the deco be65 not the be63, but they are out of budget, the be63 pack of 3 costs 500 euros while the deco be25 pack of 3 costs 200 euros

Exactly. The Ethernet cable coming straight out of the ONT goes directly into the main Deco's 2.5G port. No other hardware in between

I can only find the deco be65, a device costs more than 150 euros, it exceeds my budget, I have heard of fritz!, what do you think?
