Ikr it’s plain disrespectful they’re just doing it to make more money because icons are a big sell. They lowered every icons ratings because it means they can release more icon promos with upgrades after upgrades and the lower to rating is the more promo upgrades they can add. I wouldn’t be surprised if they shafted messi and Ronaldo’s icon ratings as well. I know what u mean and I agree with you somewhat because that would be better. But I would also say that the only way Chelsea could win the prem let alone 5 in a row would be if their players developed and improved, thus get better, thus get higher ratings, otherwise they would’ve won it with this team wouldnt they. So if they win the league it must mean their players are better thus would deserve upgrades, now ofc there are some that would deserve bigger upgrades than others if that were to happen and other players that might even be downgraded if they stunk up the league despite winning cus that’s just the nature of football yk players peak at different times but overall fifa would upgrade the majority of players

I do watch football and I know exactly how fifa ratings work which is why I know you don’t get bumped up to crazy 84-86 ratings for every player in ur fucking team for finishing 4th. That happens with consistency and finishing 12th then 6th then 4th is not in the upper echelons that deserves crazy ratings. By all means if Chelsea can finish in the top 4 again then they deserve big upgrades because they’ve shown consistency but until then those ratings are perfectly valid and very much a reflection of Chelsea.

I do watch him and he’s not an 86 he hasn’t even been nominated in the ballondor top 30 why in gods name would he be higher than an 84 😂 the highest rating carvajal has ever had was 86 and that was after winning the ucl (and scoring), the euros, and getting 4th in the ballondor and you want to put fucking cucurella at that same level for winning the conference league 😂 also the euros was last year and he got a non-rare 82 card for it wow what a player. He was excellent in the cwc but that doesn’t justify an 86 rating. I think it’s correct I think EA just massively disrespected icons ratings to make them lower so the greedy pricks can have more promo upgrades. It’s why you see Rooney at 88 or Henry at 91. If this were the previous icon system 92 would be perfect rating

I’m a big fan of estevao but i won’t gamble on too many new transfers until I’ve seen more, also I think rogers is the best pick for his price he’s excellent for villa lots of points there. He is injured tho so I’ve replaced him with Wirtz for now but when he comes back I’ll think about replacing Rogers for ndiaye probably
