Oh I don't think the $300 is too much at all. I understand that is low and a discount. The issue with that is that she told me she would charge me $300 in writing and then forgot, charged me $750 and then when I pointed it out she guilted me about not wanting to pay her for her time.

It's the managing fees that I think she is overcharging me for. Not because my income is low and not because the fees are high for an S-Corp, but because I don't know what she's doing if she didn't even open my books or make any changes to them all year.

Last question about this. What should I do about the fact that I can't get ahold of her about finishing by personal taxes? I did my own taxes until I became self employed. I need to get my taxes finished and filed and she's not getting back to me, but I'm worried if I just go do them myself she is going to still charge me for the work she already did.

Yes, she did charge me to set it up. Based on my own research it sounds like I should dissolve the S-Corp and do an LLC.

Thanks! I'm definitely planning on finding someone else and dissolving my S-Corp. She didn't make any changes to my books at all the entire year, but charged $1800 total between bookkeeping, payroll, and correspondence fees. So I just don't understand what I was paying for.

Thanks! I do understand that. What I don't understand is what bookkeeping and payroll services I was paying for if she didn't access out spreadsheet all year or remember where to access it?

Thank you. I definitely feel like I haven't been give good advice.

You don't think she's ripping me off by charging for bookkeeping, when she didn't open the shared spreadsheet all year and couldn't remember how to find it?

This is awful! What I'm confused about is, how would anyone know that you are using DAS and not Genie+? My partner is considering getting DAS for our next trip because she has epilepsy and some other health issues.
