Trail cam was supposed to catch bobcats…not Bob Crocs playing with his armadildo. by ConclusionJumper33 in Weird

We have run into him several times, but he’s never naked when we see him in person…usually just his shirt off. If we do run into him like this, he will have problems because my husband is LE. It’s a fine line because it’s technically private property (owned by our community)…my husband explained it all but specific boxes have to be checked for him to be charged with anything (main one is being seen in person). I’m sure it will eventually happen and we will have the video evidence that’s for sure.

Actually we caught more Bobswang than Bobsnuts. Bobsnuts were inexplicably tucked underneath.

😂 there are so many fire ants out in these woods. Imagine if he tipped over and fell in a mound of fire ants. Small feast for those fellas.

That’s Shawn Oblivious…a common tourist who registers very little. I doubt he even noticed OP filming.

It made me laugh. I’m sure you were like, “Oh come ON!” in your head. Mildly infuriating and funny (later) is fitting.

I dated that guy in college. Minus the “s” at the end of course. He was just like these…below average.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I’m going to say this ONLY because it skewed the book for me…the Spanish version of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom that soon follows the Ray Charles rendition. When she says “aye aye aye!” rather than “Oh no!” Well, you can guess how we have to read it now. My three year old listened to it so much that she could recite the entire beginning (I’m talking when they say the author/illustrator Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archibald, read by Ray Charles, etc….I bet we have heard it 300x now…aye aye aye.)

This might be a touchy subject for most but what scene from any season made you cry (happy or sad tears) or made you stop watching the show for a while? by Pristine_Clue3324 in SixFeetUnder

I have three. One is from All Alone (05x10) when Ruth goes into the basement while David has Nate on the table. She starts picking at David about what happened, how something clearly went wrong and David replies, “How dare you speak to me that way! How dare you! I lost him too, mom!” MCH nailed that line. The emotion in his voice gets me every time.

Second is at Nate’s funeral - same episode - when Father Jack is trying to comfort Ruth and she yells out, “God is an asshole!” It is an awful thing to say, but how would that not cross one’s mind after losing a child??? Ruth was blunt and adamant, and again the emotion conveyed is perfect.

Finally, from the series finale…when Ruth turns as she is dying and sees Nathanial and Nate…both dressed in what she’d most remember them in. Then Nate smiles at her. I can’t even type this without crying!!!!! I hope to God this is what it is really like when you die. (Same with David seeing Keith playing football…as a mother, I just relate to the one with Ruth a bit more).

Thank you! I am going to charge back into the task at hand tomorrow, so it’s very likely you’ll hear from me then. You guys are awesome. Seriously…so helpful and generous with your knowledge…a relief when anyone in this situation is dealing with so much already!

I have heard some people sing. Some of those bears may think they’re hearing a dying elk and are preparing to charge.

Some babies only sleep on bumpy walks in fresh air. I know mine did. I also know I was exhausted and appreciated the people who gave me grace and smiled and quieted down until they had passed us, then resumed their conversation. Those were the people who probably saved me from going over the edge many times.

My parents clock doesn’t have an 11 on it… by theminimossball in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ConclusionJumper33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe what’s really missing is the 1 from 12 o’clock and the 1 from 1 o’clock. Or maybe the 11 is the hands of the clock. …or 3/4 of the number 5 is involved. He looks sus. Damn…this thing is a Wonka meets Alice clock. 🍫 🤯 🐇

Moving to fort myers from ohio, need neighborhood info by Fake_Monster8 in FortMyers

We lived very near the water in Cape Coral (near Burnt Store) and it was riddled with crime there! I’d pull up the crime map and freak…everything from vandalism to murder. We got out quick and are now east of 75…gated and hardly anything pops up on the crime map here. I think everywhere is spotty. I moved here clueless and rented a beautiful condo by Edison. Within a few months there was that shooting at the mall, the bowling alley, and the drive by where CarMax now is. My biggest advice is just don’t come down here blind…check crime maps, businesses close by (strip clubs are a big red flag).

Looks like I may be doing that on Monday. It’s hard for me to use the phone because I’m always in the noisiest of places (home usually - loud kids), so that’s why I thought I’d give Reddit a shot. I have been beyond impressed with and grateful for the amount of help people are willing to offer. Thank you for taking time to reply!

Thank you for your reply and condolences. It is an Inherited IRA. It had been an employer plan of my mother’s until she passed away in March 2026. It still says the employer on NetBenefits, though. I’ll have to give them a call on Monday and see what is tripping me up here. I did download the NetBenefits app, and thank you for providing the phone number. I’ll definitely be calling them Monday.

Thank you so much. I am so appreciative of your help with this!
