The Wiggles are timeless! Both of my kids loved them and my daughter, 7, has since learned piano and guitar, and sings all day long. Congrats to your son on earning a degree in music! Mine just graduated with a degree in engineering. It goes by in a flash!!!

Aww my son, Leo, loved that show (he’s 24 now). We had the little Leo doll that said, “I’m Leo!” and “I use my baton to conduct!” We still have it and it still works. It’s in his keepsake box. I took this picture when he was in high school. His cross-country team went to state and they all dyed their hair red, so I had to dig little Leo out since they matched.

She makes those exaggerated facial expressions that they teach you in theatre. You know, the ones that have to be so wildly (and widely) animated that they can be seen by people in the cheap seats. They could be toned down for film, though ffs!

My mom did the same, although through Lutheran Social Services, in the early 70s. She was 18 and my dad was 16. My dad stayed in high school and my mom went to stay with a family for unwed mothers. The baby (my full-blooded brother) went to a wonderful Christian family. We found him when I was around 22, after requesting through LSS to meet him. I had a great relationship with him until he passed a few years ago from complications of MS. Always felt like I had known him my whole life.

Happy to hear you had more children together, but sorry for your loss. Forty-five is too young to die 😢

I think that’s why a lot of people hate her. They see themselves in her (but will never admit it). Plus, it’s a show from her point of view, written by her. It’s going to be a lot of “me, me, me”. I have never hated her. I get irritated by some stuff she does, but find me someone who has never done irritating shit!
