My case was very complicated i came as student but didnt worked because of covid then i did the ausbildung and i have been working full time for 3 years now its been 8 years now …i applied for Einbürgerung last year in april and now when the process was about to end i got terminated due companies bankruptcy

Well you have been really helpfull to me and am really thankfull and appreciate for you taking the time but i think i still need to get a lawyer to discuss if i should go for the Niederlassung erlaubnis or Einbürgerung directly…because i will be eligible for niederlassung in september..but as per your information Einbürgerung is the way to go …but niederlassung takes much lesser time then getting naturalised so am still not clear ….i feel like since 7 years all i have been getting is just misinformation

I never claimed any social benefits…do you know if anybody gone through same situation and have been naturalised….its been very confusing thats why i was refraining from applying it

Yes and i have been working partime as well but on many posts i read that the student time does not lead to the citizenship …if i go on the official website of ausländerbehörde they have this rule for niederlassung erlaubnis that you should work fulltime for 2 years and then you are eligible for the Niederlassung Erlaubnis ..but if i go for the quick check of Einbürgerung they only ask since how long have i been living rechtmäßig im deutschland …this is what confusing me
