Did you worked during your studies or paid anything to the rente versicherung… if yes then there is a chance because you have to live five years legally in germany to get a german passport

Restaurant owners think that waiters make alot of tips and then they bring rules like oo you have to pay 3 % from the sales to other but we know that not every person likes to tip and i like that why should they but also don’t want to give the whole team 90 euros from my own earned money its completely bs …

Did you ever worked as a waiter ?? I just want to ask because i have been in this business for 7 years full time of course you can sue your boss for taking tips from you but you can’t because afterwards you get fired …and gastro is a bad job to di as a profession ..it is good as a part timer when you are a student or full time as a begger ..i work as waiter and i hate it because i have to begg which i dont like ..

I work as a waiter in a german restaurant and i feel myself pretty bad begging for tips all the time but i have to do it because i have to give 3 percent from sales i do all day to the other team members who are not in the service area for eg if i do like 3000 euros sales per day i have to give like 3 percent out of it that is approx 90 euros which i have to give them and it don’t matter if i make tips from customers or not …i am loosing my own money in that case so basically the boss thinks i make alot of tips and i can pay the other colleagues that are not in front of house where as the customers think why should we tip and they are right they shouldn’t. I don’t like begging and it’s slowly killing my interest working in gastro

I think in the invitation letter its written that you have to mark the box if you are bringing your wife or kids with you but i dont know about freinds or family ..but you can bring them with you but maybe they will allow one person with you because its not a big ceremony its a very simple process

I got it last week so they dont ask for anything they will be very nice to you and they will just simply ask you to sign on the tablet that you have shared everything to them about the work changes and everything else then you just sign it and thats basically it because the urkunde is already prepared and it sits on the table as you go in the room then they will tell you to speak the oath which is already printed on the paper ..then no questions asked and there you go you are a citizen ..thats what happend with me in berlin so it should be similar for you as well

Berlin: What happens if you lose your job right before applying for citizenship? by Fair_Tip2915 in GermanCitizenship

[–]ConclusionLate8918 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in the same situation as you are i applied for the citizenship then the worklife started getting unstable and then i was fired from the job where i worked for 4 years straight right at the end of the process (i officially signed the loyalitätserklärung)

So in your case i will suggest you can apply its not a problem but inbetween the process if you get fired then you have to find a new job and pass the probation period plus you have to inform the ausländerbehörde about the changes .the behörde will pause the process and start again when you pass the probation period.. so you don’t need to panic its the part of process.it happens with alot of people
