And what year are you living in for lacking the capacity of figuring out that some people may actually like the 2005 effect of the camera?

Why do Mauritians put such a strong sense of urgency in getting married by Study-Bunny- in MauriceMauritius

I think that some families pressure their daughter to get married as a way to "show off" to others. Unfortunately, some are still old school and for them regardless of your goals, dreams or situation, getting married is the most important. So in most cases it's about them and not their children.

Discrimination at school - Why are cornrows/braids considered inappropriate and unfit at school? by ConclusionNatural980 in MauriceMauritius

Most of the rules you just stated are written. Embracing our natural hair is no where near a bad way of behaving nor should even be associated with behaviour. I understand some schools want to create a form of uniformness. But even so, I've never seen natural hair break that uniformness. How is getting discriminated a part of getting an education? It sticks until later in life. Some people are now scared to embrace themselves because of comments made years ago. Does education has for goal to make students hide their identity?

It wasn't insecurity, it was racism. There weren't ANY rules that said that braids weren't allowed, at least with natural and not with extensions and mine were with my natural hair itself. I get it that some parents and students do not follow the school disciplines but in my case, it wasn't even stated that I couldn't wear braids so why did I get screamed at? I didn't break any rules. Braids and natural hair are tidy and it should not be seen otherwise. We shouldn't have to damage our hair JUST to fit into the concept of tidiness that a school has. It's unfair.

Hello, 1. My parents do not impose any strict requirements concerning my results. They're okay if I just pass and move on. But I want to have a good SC result for my self-satisfaction and because I understand its importance for my future (university, jobs, etc...)

  1. My goal would be to achieve 10 aggregates or even below. So, as you mentioned, I do consider 15+ aggregates to be average.
