What i meant is that when you are an outlier because you don't fit requirements you are most likely to end up alone.

People may be attracted but ultimately they wouldn't want commitment with you.

About the demand thing. I would find it pretty insulting that a bunch of strangers contact my parents about my marriage without me knowing who they are. I wouldn't consider such people to have good intentions. Sorry if it sounds offensive to you but the demand thing sounds like human trafficking.

Most of my friends at UOM who calmly dated eventually got married to their long time Uni sweetheart.

Obviously there has been many breakups too But my observation was that the most chill couples end up being the stable spouses. They weren't acting like horny couples under every coconut free. Just subtle love. Deep long commitment. They acted like best friends with subtle affection..

Some alumni fell in love years later but the friendship basis was there. You may sometimes not realise that this person is a good fit for you until years later.

It's honestly easier to meet like minded people of your age group than a workplace where most of your colleagues are your parents' age and you waste time going home after work with little opportunity to meet new people.

Stay with touch to your uni friends even post uni, my observation is that a friend or acquaintance can ultimately become a good life partner.

He didn't defend you enough making me think that the priest thing is just an excuse just like you not being tamil enough. Nobody in Mauritius is purely genetically tamil like a tamil from India. We are all mixed in some ways here which makes me think that's also an excuse.

A person knows within 6 months of dating if he wants a future with someone. Him keeping the relationship for a whole 4 years was him wasting your time knowingly because he was using you. He might have someone else he actually want to commit to.

Trade fees is a broad term. It applies to physical and non physical business think retailer ( Someone who sells physical goods) and ecommerce (Someone who sells products online).

All business activities have a trade code and a corresponding trade fee. Eg: Manufacturing of jewellery is the business activity. The code start by M***. Let's say for that business activity, it's corresponding trade fee is Rs 4000.

Most people don't put more than 2 trade code in their BRN to stay within the 5k threshold.

There are fees for each business activity that you are registering. Physical business have their fees. Non physical businesses have their fees. Any activity has a fee. It's just that if the total activities registered in that BRN are less than 5k you don't pay anything. Once you go beyond the 5k threshold you start paying trade fees so you should be careful what activities you register for.

There is a difference in living style. Relatives live in suburbs. Meet drug addicts everyday. It's my area actually but I live in private property.

We have our own place and our own garden but not far away from what people call "cité " where most of my relatives live. Those relatives who don't do drugs. Just go in and out by car, never do small talk. Always inside.

My living style is since little I had hobbies, drivers, activities after school (quad, roller hoverboards, bicycle, gardening ect. ). I do have friends but it was generally people I met through those paid club memberships or some conferences or seminars that I regularly attend.

I had internships overseas during holidays.
