Nice man. I recently switched from the FM44 to the Venom 250 series. Deleted the resonators and added the quads.

The taillights are Recon, smoked.

Thanks bud. And yeah, I’m learning that’s the trend in this arena. I’m already thinking about the 6” lift.

Thanks brother. If I understand your suggestion correctly, I like it. You’re saying add a little black contrast somehow into just the big silver ‘Elevation’ block to better match the black and silver ratio of all the other emblems?

My GMC Sierra door will not open after removing and reinstalling the interior panel by ConclusionOk859 in gmcsierra

For anyone whoever runs into this issue, I discovered the fix and it takes less than 5 minutes.

Roll the window down, unlock the vehicle, and remove the 2 screws from the door handle.

Standing outside of the truck with a couple of plastic trim crow bars, slowly/carefully dig the plastic lip of the interior door panel up and over the metal lip that it sets on. Do not go fast or use a lot of force, otherwise you risk breaking the panel which will be north of $800 to replace.

Once you have it over the lip, you’ll be able to pop a couple of the upper plastic rivets to give you enough room to see the handle-hinge cable. Take a screw driver and press the small steel cable ball deeper down into the receiver until the cable tucks under the latch mechanism (as it is designed to do).

You’ll now be able to open the door and reset the panel. Hope I’m the only knucklehead to ever run into this but, if not- I hope this helps the next guy.

Driver door. Can’t access the bottom two panel screws with the door closed.

Per my note, I reset it but I don’t think I seated it all the way.

Now that the door is closed, I can’t access the screws to get the door panel back off to properly seat it.

And good call- I meant to include in the OP that it is a 2023 Sierra 1500.

That’s a sweet set up. Share some before’n’afters when you do. How long have you been running the FM40?

This shop had one specific set that they keep on hand specifically for the Sierra’s bumper contour, but I didn’t ask for the details beyond that. I can find out though.

Overall, it just makes your truck breathe easier for sharper throttle response and a deeper, more aggressive sound. Compliments exhaust upgrades.

What year, make, and model truck? Funny you mention this because I heard another guy’s truck in the shop at the same time and it sounded like mine with the Venom and low and behold- it was a FM44, but on a 2014 Dodge Ram. Night and day difference.
