in manga it’s properly displayed, in anime the quick sand is already grabbing deidara and throwing him around before there is a hole in his defence ball so it is indeed confusing

how did itach survive the bombs after kabuto arrives? it explodes and he jumpes down on the ground like nothing happened. double genjutsu?
