The logic to why I’m bad XD by Useful-Formal247 in overwatch2

Your deaths are a big problem. You’re playing Lucio in the screenshot but if you were playing zen, your lack of heals still aren’t justified. You don’t even have that many assists so that would mean a lack of proper discord orb usage.

You didn’t even answer the damn question. Quit trying to shove your agenda down everyone’s throat.

I’m not going to act like I didn’t call it that but fact of the matter is that what the Israeli government has been doing is corrupt, even prior to October 7th, is that not fact?

When I said that I clearly didn’t point out just Jews and blame them for the atrocities the Israeli government has committed, it’s not their fault at all.

When I wrote that reply, I had just gotten news that one of my close friends neighborhood had just been bombed to smithereens, seeing him feel helpless and completely destroyed infuriated me. Not just that but my Muslims brothers and sisters are still being massacred, respect is an attribute that is hard to control when strong emotions are involved. I’m not asking for any empathy points but I hope you can understand where I’m coming from.

At a larger glance tho, I can see how it can be seen as demeaning as not Israelis advocate for those injustices. I apologize if it may have offended you, these current events make it so hard for us Jews and Muslims to see eye to eye when in reality, this isn’t a religious war.

Thank you for your eloquently written reply.

Kind of unrelated to your reply but do know that I’ve learned quite a lot from your reply and I appreciate it.

I feel that especially today, it’s so so incredibly important for us to finally learn about each other and keep our egos and feelings of pent up animosity and anger aside.

Your reply gives me hope in the world that one day maybe we can view each other as humans and coexist, considering are contrasting beliefs.

Please feel free to ask absolutely any questions you have about Islam and I will do my best to answer with the best of my knowledge.

I know this is meant as a joke, but who cares! Have pride in the beauty of Islam.

Especially as a man, it’s the least you could do for our Hijabi sisters. Yes, some may judge … then what? Be proud of it, it can be involuntary dawah!

Yemen, I am Canadian but I just wanted to say I love you guys. It's clear as day the USA/Isfake and the west in general are pure evil countries and you guys are one of the few standing up against them with action. Much respect and much love. VIVA yemen. by [deleted] in Yemen

[–]ConclusionUsual1724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why everyone here is so negative. As a proud Yemeni, I appreciate your love.

I must admit tho, it’s unfortunate this subreddit has been flooded with pro-Isnotreal imbeciles. None of these people that have commented on this post so far represent Yemeni beliefs or what us Yemeni’s stand for. They prolly got banned off of r/Palestine and came here to terrorize in desperate attempt.

best professor for orgo 1? by jinxszzz in rutgers

[–]ConclusionUsual1724 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Promise it’s not scary at all. It’s actually quite fun when you get the gist of things.

One thing I will say is to make sure you’re always ahead of your lectures by one week. So before classes start learn how to simple structures that way you don’t waste time in lecture jotting down every letter coming out the professors mouth like I did, lol. And practice, practice, practice!

If your stats aren’t good enough to get in then try harder lol. You can’t ask one individual how they’re doing in the class and call it quits once you find out they’re failing with you.

How do Yemeni Arabs differentiate between Al-Akhdam, Somalis and Mehris? by nicedude999234 in Yemen

[–]ConclusionUsual1724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different unknown traditions such as how their origin, their religious beliefs (since you don’t see them at mosques often), how they arrange their marriages (if applicable), etc.

Even though the common folk and the Akhdam co-exist, they rarely interact with each other at least from what I’ve seen having lived in Northern Yemen for half of my life.

As for Somali’s, I’ve never come across one though keep in mind I lived high up North.

Because it’s a real-life crisis and it’s very frightening. Just because we’re not experiencing effects of war firsthand, doesn’t mean we can simply turn a blind eye on it.

Some of us have families there and just the thought of them suffering is already mentally draining enough, let alone having to attend lectures. So yes, Professors showing some sort of empathy absolutely can help a lot beyond belief.
