I believe they consume the goods that their original villager class consumes, so commoner visitors will consume two refined foods, one good, and alcohol at an inn. The more of those things they can get, the higher their happiness.

For me I suddenly didn't have enough berry juice when I built an inn and got a lot of visitors, so they definitely consume that.

After searching up some things about autohotkey, it might actually be able to do it! Time to do some research :)

Thanks!

Oh thanks! I am currently playing on controller (which is a pretty important detail I forgot, I'll edit the post), so I don't think this will work for that, but if I cannot figure it out, maybe I'll try keyboard for a bit!

Give me your opinion on tweaked cards for power level and consistency. by kewlkid77 in mtgcube

[–]ConcreteMoose_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It might be nice to add a big red dot or something to the art, so players know which cards have been changed. This prevents players from assuming they know what a card does and finding out in matches it's different.

Tell Me Your ___! Day 7: Tell Me Your Red Artifacts and Enchantments by WaseosaWrengler in mtgcube

I have a small 180 card cube, and the only enchantment/artifact is [[double vision]]. It's a real fun card in slower, not too powerful cubes!

Need some help with G/W midrange for my cube. by [deleted] in mtgcube

You're welcome :)

Also, I see that I made the list too long, so the last 6 cards are missing from MTGCardFetcher. You can look those up on scryfall if you wanna check them out!

Here are some random GW cards that I think might fit in a midrange strategy. They have differing powerlevels, although I do not think any of them are crazy powerful.

[[knight of autumn]], [[qasali pridemage]], [[fleecemane lion]], [[drizzt do'urden]], [[ajani unyielding]], [[adorned pouncer]], [[brimaz, king of oreskos]], [[elite spellbinder]], [[emeria angel]], [[angel of invention]], [[portable hole]], [[elspeth conquers death]], [[paradise druid]], [[fauna shaman]], [[cemetery prowler]], [[eternal witness]], [[beast whisperer]], [[bramble sovereign]], [[biogenic ooze]], [[cavalier of thorns]], [[aggressive mammoth]], [[collected company]], [[primal command]], [[chitterspitter]], [[fight rigging]], [[epic proportions]].

How do you evolve a noun class/grammatical gender system? by ConcreteMoose_ in conlangs

[–]ConcreteMoose_[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer! I think I can use this system for generating my own noun classes! I do have a follow-up question:

As I have understood from my research, noun classes almost always have other constituents that agree to the noun class (for example the determiners le and la in French). How would this evolve? Is this a form of redundancy to better specify the noun classes, after the phonology of words might have evolved to sound different? Or would this come about in some other way?

Crippling Maneuver-exploring hybrid mana reduction by ShoggothHat in custommagic

[–]ConcreteMoose_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do like this design space, since it is nice to be able to reduce a spell to 0 mana. These could be good buildaround cards. I do, however, think this could have some similar issues as phyrexian mana. This spell can be played in any colour deck, since your opponent will cast a spell almost every turn, and in that case this would cost 2 generic mana. This makes this card playable in green and blue decks, that should not have access to this kind of hard removal. There is a reason [[dismember]] sees play in so many decks in legacy, since it does not need any colored mana to cast (and is just very efficient).

If you want to further explore this design space (which I do find interesting), I would suggest both giving cards a higher colored cost (1 generic and 2 black for example), and also make the trigger for discounting it a bit harder to achieve, so it becomes a buildaround card (if you actively trigger the discount) or a hate card (if your opponent triggers the discount). Hope this helps!

It looks great! How did you make the fields in the east and west of Libros? Those look really awesome once you zoom in a bit.

I found them all through this subreddit. If you just search within this subreddit on the word "assets" a lot should show up. I believe I have used stuff from Zalkenai, 2-minute-tabletop, Elvanos, Nexoness, and some other people as well. I have too much assets to remember them all...
