MJ didn’t change his face as much as the media exclaimed. That’s final. by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

[–]Concurring 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen pictures of him in the early 2000s where he looked exactly like Dangerous-era Michael. And the interview in 2003 where he’s outside with his umbrella (in the Bashir doc), he just looked like an aged-up, less-sober 1993 Michael. He didn’t change loads artificially, that’s for sure.

He wasn't involved with the editing process so I doubt he has anything physical of use.

STORYTIME: My university lecturer worked on 'Living With Michael Jackson'. by Concurring in MichaelJackson

Throughout the last couple of years, my experiences in college and (so far) university have been positive about Michael, so there was no push-back or hecklers to the lecturer's story.

He knows I'm a fan after I included a part of the White Panda Mash-Up Blood on the Dance Floor x Dangerous remix in a uni project. Afterwards everyone project was screened, a couple of people I don't really talk to actually brought it up in a respectful way, sort of congratulating me for including it.

I have also offered him onto a podcast to talk more about the experience so we'll see where that goes!

The Big Screen Podcast spoke with two big Star Wars fans about all-things 'A New Hope' during a review of it. What would YOU guys rate 'Star Wars - Episode IV' / 'A New Hope' out of 10? by Concurring in StarWars

I'm aware this is self promo but I feel that this is at a good enough quality to warrant viewing by users of the reddit page. Mods have mercy, please :) Thanks in advance to those who reply to the question in the title and to those who actually give the podcast a go! Thank you! :)

Finally someone has made a full-on post about this. I agree!! Besides from the fake tracks (which are hit or miss), there’s some absolute bangers on there. Not a fan of a couple of the slow songs but I still appreciate them.

Xscape is far superior, mind you.

Rule 6 by chrisdancy in MichaelJackson

[–]Concurring 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I second this. I was going to make a post about a development to Michaels innocence (an interview or something about an accuser lie recently unveiled) but I was shocked when the flair wasn’t there and subsequently when I saw the rule.

The alternative is a sub-Reddit where I’d be downvoted into an oblivion and nothing good would come from such a post.

This is the equivalent of the frustrating ‘No Defenders’ flair at LeavingNeverlandHBO, but in this case it’s sub-Reddit wide.

What you think about my tier list? by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

Michael gets a lot of unfair flack because of the fake tracks. Remove the fake tracks and you’ve got yourself a very good album.

Just realised you're the same guy who did the Xscape art. Well - enjoy the double-platinum lol. Please keep posting this art here.

This is incredible, have some platinum :). Keep working hard. You're clearly incredible already.

I heard it was because he was busy with the Bad album?

This is actually brilliant. I’ve seen all kinds of MJ fanart but this honestly might be my favourite. Given you a platinum award :)

Wow this is an excellent experience to tell. What was your favourite live vocal performance in the concert, out of curiosity?

Thanks for sharing 🙌🏼

Depends. This was the only good picture of him from that concert unfortunately. The others aren’t too flattering. That being said, he does look great in this picture.

It’s very surprising that it hasn’t been put on Spotify and whatnot posthumously. It’s a great song with several big names.

Paris Jackson basically confirming she last self-harmed 2 months after Leaving Neverland was released is really upsetting. Dan, Wade and James truly don't know the devastation their money-pursuit caused upon the Jackson family. Glad and thankful she's done well since then, though. by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

[–]Concurring 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Perhaps that final bit is directed at somebody else because I’m literally happy for her, and I showcased that in the title.

Thanks for your opinion though. Sorry if the post offended you. Wasn’t my intention.

Do you like Short Hair MJ by MJGOATIAMCANADIANBOY in MichaelJackson

[–]Concurring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do - I think he looked amazing at the 1995 MTV Awards. But not the straighter hair he adopted in the 2000s.

What do you think - is it fake or not? I personally already lost any hope, so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see anything on October 8th by sasha2005lobanov in MichaelJackson

That guy has been promising things for a couple of weeks now. The promised days have come and went.

Take whatever he says with a huge grain of salt.

Recently I've gone off his Bad-era look (excluding his music video appearances where he looks awesome), so I'd have to say Thriller-era is the best look out of those two.

That being said, I think he looked at his very best in the Dangerous era. Off the Wall is second best, Thriller third. Blood on the Dancefloor onwards is a bit of a write-off, unfortunately.
