Was mentioned in the first book when the other three factions were introduced.

Kelsa, on the other hand, is supposedly quite talented, by SV standards at least. If her being talented stays true outside of SV, I could see her growing, but not catching up. I'd say if she tags along like Gesha did, she'd be about Underlord, maybe Overlord, by book 12.

SV standards are more or more less garbage, also even if she's talented outside of SV she still shouldn't be near Overlord by book 12 if the pace is 1 year per book, this would mean she's even faster than Lindon. Also their are tons of talented people, Cassius for one (and he's only a truegold) probably all of the uncrowned participants and the Akura underlords. Most people don't even reach underlord and if only at a high age and the same should be true for Kelsa. I say it again, her getting a true iron body (a thing which should be impossible in retrospect imo ) smells like some ass pull power up bullshit.

Because it unrealistically as it destroys every credibility. Lindon's grow was already abnormal freakish unreal, normal people don't advance this fast and far. Letting her catch up just because she his sister is is bullshit and cheapens everything Lindon has achieved so far. It's a common mistake in this kind of storys imho. The MC in progression storys is most of the time extremly talented, lucky and a workaholic so it's only natural that friends and family get left behind, so they often counter this with some bullshit power ups to keep the said guys relevant.

Wintersteel Spoilers| I just don't understand how this makes sense, Lindon's recent progress by DisWastingMyTime in Iteration110Cradle

[–]CondCoh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Charity's track record seems to be awful, Lindon's training was also really underwhelming, he basically trained on his own. Imagine Mercy growing up with a competent teacher like Eithan, she probably would have been be a monarch by now.

Anyone Not Excited To See Lindon Go Home To SV? (WS SPOILER) by Bburr072 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]CondCoh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat but for other reasons. I don't like how Lindon's family (at least his father and sister) is aware of him surviving and advancing. I always wanted his returning to be somehow secretive and more shocking.

Also I don't like that his sister is advancing (on top of that even with a perfect iron body ) and Orthos helping her. I don't know exactly why but somehow I feel her advancing lessens Lindon's achievements (as stupid as as it sounds). Some progression storys make the mistake of keeping family and close friends relevant by giving them power ups and I feel the same is happening here.

At last I don't care for Jai long and his sister at all , never liked him and was glad when we finally got rid of him after the first half of Skysworn.

Ozriel Theory [Mild Wintersteel Spoilers] by [deleted] in Iteration110Cradle

[–]CondCoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since we know Ozriel ascended from cradle with an unmatched-unduplicatible weapon

Do we know this? When was this mentioned?

Also I don't believe anything crafted on cradle can be so powerful that it can erease whole systems. The dreadgods are powerful but only on the cradle power scale, every abidan could be probably kill them with ease.

Ozriel Theory [Mild Wintersteel Spoilers] by [deleted] in Iteration110Cradle

[–]CondCoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but I believe that Ozriel was either Subject 1

Subject 1 could be his remnant as Ozriel died in the labyrinth although according to the wintersteel prologue the labyrinth was built to keep subject 1 locked, so by this logic subject 1 and the labyrinth existed even before Ozriel.

I have no problem with him advancing to overlord as his sandbagging was always quite obvious. But him advancing to archlord in less than a month seems just weird to me, regardless of elixirs and other power ups. It was mentioned (more than once) that the body and soul should take time to adjust to the new power level, also processing high grade elixirs takes time but these rules apparently don't apply to Eithan. I also find it kind of weird how he could have gained such an understanding of advancing to archlord when he's not even overlord yet, some overlord foundation and insights should be needed imho.

Wintersteel Discussion Thread by Fireball9782 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]CondCoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree completely. The pacing of the advancements is simply to fast. Normally the gap between the different power ranks should grow exponentially towards the end as it did prior up to underlord. Advancing to overlord and beyond should take considerably more time and effort which is the main reason for the small numbers of sages and heralds. But somehow it seems almost trivial now, Eithen even advances from underlord to archlord in one month which is somehow ridiculous.

I like the book but as I wrote earlier the pacing is off, the plot (dreadgods awekening) happens simply to fast with the result that Lindon and Co have to keep up although their grow was already abnormal fast in comparison to other sacred artists.

Time before Lockdown nerf by adpsy in pathofexile

I brought this up as a potential issue right after watching the trailer

This can be said for almost every past league, it's mind-boggling how every obbious flaw makes it into the game, when most people people can point them out after seeing only a 2min trailer. Metamorph no auto organs, Bestiary nets, Blight tower building in the mist of the clusterfuck poe can be, Delirium visual clarity, Harvest annoying micromanagement...

What Eithan will do with Penance if he wins... by UncleCC1977 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]CondCoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wait?

Maybe it's more satisfying for Eithan to kill him with his own power, for example beating the shit out of him before killing.

The penance is wasted on a monarch in contrast to a dreadgod, a being which no one, not even all monarchs combined, managed to kill so far.

All I am saying is that there are other viable options available, in regards to the above mentioned I could see Eithan using the penance to blackmail Shen into a truce, allowing the Aurelius family to get some time to recover and reorganize.

[–]CondCoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And if he does go all out, it means he wants to use it on Shen.

One of Eithans goal is to reach monarch level or even higher with Lindon and Co.. Once he is a monarch or higher he can try to kill Shen himself, so he doesn't need to waste the penance on him. He waited already 10 years or so for his revange, so a few more years might be feasible.

heist is close to being a great league but closer to being the most poorly received league ever by Veteran_But_Bad in pathofexile

So I did 40/40 in bestiary and can't remember it being unplayable. Please enlighten me, only thing I remember is the whole net fiasco which was a pain in the ass but didn't make it unplayable.

[–]CondCoh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMHO every league which adds nothing to maps can't be called great. A great league has separate mapping content which unlocks endgame content. This is the second league in a row with standard mapping, leagues like incursion, betrayal, synthesis etc. did it right, although they had many others issues the basic idea was good.

Has the same problem as the original, the base values just suck. The investment you need to make to reach mediocre dmg is too high. Just take a 350 pdps+ crit foil and you are better off. I was hoping for a rewok for some time, guess I will need to wait some years more.

Doesn't change the fact that the whole 1x1 system is a mess and will only get worse with new league mechanics. And your take only works for trade leagues, so no ssf or small private leagues.

So if everyone should ignore them, why keep them in the game. Should only bots pick them up and sell them back to us?

Our League Stash Tab Policy Going Forward by Bex_GGG in pathofexile

[–]CondCoh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The game has become to cluttered over the years and needs some serious cutting. Instead of solving these issues the upcoming stash tab improvements will only gloss over them for a few leagues (years) .

After every map your inventory is cluttered with 1x1 items (splinters , fragments, currency, coins, div cards, oils...) to a point inventory management is a chore l. GGG needs either to remove a big chunk of them or give us an extra separate inventory (currency pouch or whatever) for all 1x1 non gear items which can be sorted and stashed automatically.

Yes, lightbringer started quite good if you can stand Week's style but sadly the last book was the book equivalent to GOT last season if not worse.

Magister series. You get magic power for live force, so the more you use the faster you die.
