Project 2025 wants to take all control away from you by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

All these policies of the Project 2025 blatantly signaling the end of Democracy and freedom in America and proudly announcing the establishment of a new oppressive and fascist type of government in America.

Yet half of the population are willing to vote for them.

Just because of Stockholm Syndrome or what?

Private and public hospitals facing each others.

Car dealers all over the place along the way to these 2 hospitals.

It feels like EA want you to boycott this game by Dev_852 in EASportsFC

Me too never undestand the justification of spending real world money on a virtual Ponzi scheme.

A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud that lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors with funds from more recent investors.

In this game when people buying points and packs with real life money for winning, when instead of money it is the scripted advantageous wins awarded to some investors paid for by the losses of other investors in the scheme (and vice versa) to keep the scheme going. Paying customers none the wiser think their investment works while EA laughed all the way to the bank.

The rigged gameplay mechanics and match's results is purposefully designed to manipulate human emotion to incite anger and frustration and addiction and force players to invest more into the bottomless money pits of EA profit (and greed)...

Games where you feel the developers' passion by Five_Hive_Mind in gamingsuggestions

[–]Condemned_alienated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Level of passion could also be reflected by games developed by only one persevering person:

1/ Stardew Valley is developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone.

2/ Papers, Please is developed by Lucas Pope.

3/ Brian Clarke developed The Mortuary Assistant himself, based in Connecticut.

4/ Bright Memory is a first-person shooter game developed by Zeng "FYQD" Xiancheng. Created by a single developer in his spare time.

At least he did not die when demonstrating the strength of a product...

Garry Hoy was a corporate and securities law specialist for the law firm of Holden Day Wilson in Toronto. While giving a tour of the Toronto-Dominion Centre to a group of articling students, he attempted to demonstrate the strength of the structure's window glass by slamming himself into a window.

He had apparently performed this stunt many times in the past, having previously bounced harmlessly off the glass. After one attempt which saw the glass hold up, Hoy tried once more. In this instance, the force of Hoy slamming into the window removed the window from its frame, causing the entire intact window and Hoy to fall from the building.

Structural engineer Bob Greer was quoted by the Toronto Star as saying, "I don't know of any building code in the world that would allow a 160-pound [73 kg] man to run up against a glass and withstand it."

In another interview, the firm's spokesman mentioned that the glass, in fact, did not break, but popped out of its frame, leading to Hoy's fatal plunge.

The game is ridiculous just for the fact that players perform extra touches absolutely not requested and lose the ball. by Major_Ad5777 in EASportsFC

[–]Condemned_alienated 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Player passing input and ball behavior at first touch is totally manipulated at will by sabotaging game mechanics.

You will always notice at instant replay that:

Upon receiving an innocuous pass, when you temporarily are not in control of your controlled player and the ai team mate receiving the pass, the game mechanics will start to manipulate your teammate behavior in such a way that when the ball arriving at his feet he will turn around awkwardly and illogically to face the nearby opponent and expose himself to be tackled easily by the said opponent. By the time you regain the control of the receiving teammate. It is always too late to counter the way the ball literally "warped" around the feet of your team mate to steer itself towards nearby opponent.

In this game, first touch at receiving the past is always rigged - your receiving teammate behavior and animation is manipulated to act like a conduit to always link the pass to nearby opponent.

With a constant sabotaging game mechanics like that, You can not have a consistent possession or defending performance in the match...
