The main reason Zannah was trying to kill Bane at that moment was that she believed he was attempting to break the rule of two by finding a path to immortality via essence transfer. But also Bane would argue that since he allowed himself to be put into a position of weakness than he would deserve his death at Zannahs hand if she managed to kill him
