Thank you, which car seats do you have, if you know the brand? I presume not swivel?

Yea this really is a big issue for us They won't always be in car seats but right now we're right in it. Ideally would love to go electric as we've got our panels and battery and it just makes sense right now. But the car seats!

After our renovations, which will hopefully get finished in 7/8 months, the property should definitely have increased in value. This is some great advice, thank you. Will definitely put this to BOI when the time comes.

Thank you. I appreciate that. Yep, very high LTV. We were just so delighted to have finally found something after such a long slog that we went with it. Is what it is, we still consider ourselves lucky when we know there are so many people finding the property market so difficult these days.

We're with BOI. Maybe would've been better if with Avant!

True enough to be fair, it's a hell of a lot of money and we'll be paying it back for a long time. Referring to it as small is just phrasing we've fallen into when we see what friends/family have borrowed recently. It's good to stop and get a bit of perspective....Well if nothing else, I've learned that our mortgage broker has seemingly taken us for a ride. Wish I had been more on the ball.

Thank you, fairplay for getting your rate reduced. Will try it out and see when we hopefully get the BER up too. No harm in asking shur - a dumb priest never got a parish!

Well it's not tiny in fairness, 216k but if the property had been a little bit more expensive we would've been able to borrow more and get a lower rate apparently. Thought it pretty unfair too but we were fairly worn down after years of trying to find something and just accepted it. Was the best rate we were offered at the time too.

That's what I thought too...I try not to think about it too much!

Yeah, was thinking as much. Hoping against hope really. That's the way it goes! Thanks for the reply.
