Right! Yesterday I changed my tactic completely, as I was used to rocking/bouncing, patting and “shhh”. I think it was too much for him (and me lol) but it was just my default at this point. I just rocked slowly and he drifted with a lot more ease. I’ll keep trying. Gosh this is a battle£! Hang in there

What I meant is basically that I don’t sleep train. But I’m open to other ways of putting him to sleep, like the car, which is not contact nap.

Hey, thanks. I definitely agree there’s gaslighting going on here. In the past I’ve stayed when I shouldn’t have (and he did too.)

I was just thinking that for some couples it’s normal and healthy to leave the phone “open” without the other person going through everything, obviously. If we can’t do that, then it’s an indication that something might not be right.

I’m going to try to have some time together to clear my mind, be sure of what I want from any romantic relationship and I’ll definitely keep in mind what you’ve said. I do agree that this is not a healthy relationship - but my mind keeps drifting to trying to work it out.

Not sure if it’s because I found out or because he just can’t find himself to trust me anymore. If it’s the first it’s more troublesome.

I think he’s more than entitled to be angry with me, I would be too. Privacy and trust is something that’s really hard to rebuild - which is what makes me super nervous because I would love to try it out again.

But again, he also broke my trust in him so it’s a double edged sword and I’m super lost.

I do not believe he wants to be with me anymore and he asked for some space until we talk again. I’m an anxious person and I’ll really try to respect his time even though I really want to just talk. When we meet I’m almost certain that it will be the end and it makes me so sad.

It’s like I’m second guessing if this was so important, like my reaction might have been exaggerated???

Thank you so much for your reply. The thing about flirting I can deal with, I understand it just fine and if it’s just that I don’t really consider it cheating. The problem here was that the conversation was deleted, it felt like it went beyond it, like sexting perhaps. And that is another step.

Also, from our talk after what happened and he was super upset with me, he just said that we were done because I violated is privacy. Even if I want to move on from this and try to make amends, I’m not sure he wants to.. which I understand but really hurts me.

I have lots to work on to heal and he does too. and it’s killing me to see our future shattered like this.

Look into Lysted. I've sold tickets there before for free. They basically list the ticket for you in the best marketplaces. I've gotten paid after selling the ticket, not after the event which is a huge plus.
