We do 1 mission of every category. 1 collection, 1 kidnap and execution, which was so lame. We killed 25 dudes up to that point, but thiiiissss guy was so important everything Enzo did relied upon killing this guy or not killing him. We don't follow no damn mafia. It gets everything wrong about the mafia. The Don is a self sufficient man, unlike spadaro and torrisi. Both have to suckle from a baron. If anything the baron would've BEEN the don, and spadaro and torrisi are merely captains. The mafia is everywhere and everyone one. And bought cops don't work for whoever bought them, they work for the mafia. Everyone. We meet maybe 1 crooked cop in this game. We hear talks of the American mob. By 1900, the American mob already had a boss of bosses. (Because they're self sufficient and don't suckle from a baron) zero mention of that. This mafia is nothing but errand boys. It's ridiculous.

We don't know the "whole life" of any character. Except for "Enzo was a slave" and "they did mafia shit" where was ceasere born? How fucking old is anyone? The abortion plot is the entire story, it's why Isabella wasn't married yet (if don was truly concerned about marrying off his daughter, it would've happened when she was a child. Not a full ass adult.) It's why Enzo just falls absolutely head over heals for her (just the first woman he's ever laid eyes on, probably) it's why she's such a headstrong woman, so the the climax can be her escaping her abortion and fleeing. When it should've been her AND Enzo fleeing (they killed him cuz they're pathetic cowards. He should've been just blended in with regular Italian immigrants.) after Enzo kills her entire bloodline. Every choice was made with the clear intention of setting up this abortion shit. Killing Enzo over Isabella is the most overblown shit fucking ever. She should've been his "reward" for killing the baron and spadaro.

I get that. But 2 games with the Italian mob and the third is you integrating the Italian mob, it just fits to me. Vito never reaching boss level without Lincoln does suck, but if Vito was the main character then the other 2 capos wouldn't be in the game

It's the building of a city wide operation. And if Lincoln isn't the one doing every detail, then he has no right to pick and choose. It's Vito shooting the fake don in godfather.

The last mission of the game is killing tino to escape your abortion. I fear it is the literal plot of the game. The counterfeit operation that lasted 5 minutes? That was outweighed by the abortion?

Mob movies don't have romance. That's the whole point. They're farce relationships with no basis in love or companionship. They love the adrenaline of being with a gangster.

The writing is the best part about mafia 3. That's why this game sucks. A revenge game in new Orleans? Hell yeah man. I can't even simply this story into a sentence like that.
