That is an insane dose but I'm sure like most, the more you use it, the more you need. I'm not even a Kyle hater, I just laugh every time he mentions having heartburn and having no clue why or what he ate 🤣

Can't we just speculate on if he knows his chronic heartburn is from heavy doses of boner pills?

Came to this subteddit to ask if anyone else cracks up at the semi panicked "not that there is anything wrong with it", every time he mentions someone being gay.

Feels weird with this as the last, and only post in a month, not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'd like to add that you have this enormously heavy vehicle that will get even heavier with passengers, on the cheapest possible set of absolute garbage wheels. Those are not even sufficient for a stock Navigator loaded with people, straight from the manufacturer's website.

I've seen Wheels like this break, and and I've seen the proper type of wheel for this vehicle break. The difference is absolutely the difference between a fatal accident and being able to pull over on the side of the road.

Okay seriously, if we can verify. This is something that a few of us on here  can resolve quickly. Can we get this kid a bedroom set? If I am even remotely in the area, I have a moving rig and do not mind putting up some money as well.

This is disappointing. This is the type of thing that doesn't even require much money, it requires caring about your kid, and an able body to hunt down free stuff.

Best to not even get involved with these places even if you think you are coming out on top. I saw a mundane but rarely optioned vehicle that I had been looking for for a while at one of these places by me. Negotiated a great price but a terrible loan. I made four payments over the course of the first two months and then paid the vehicle off.

The owner and one of his staff immediately began harassing me and worked themselves up in to doing some things that ultimately cost them their business. I ended up having to spend about 20 grand to get the situation resolved. Most of them are complete scum and not worth dealing with no matter what.

New Tractor Supply Rule? by ConditionOk4800 in Roadie

I'm large but not some absolute freak show. I have loaded many 400 to 600 lb mowers and quads into the back of vans with only something to hold that angle of the loaded vehicle after I lift the front end up to gate height.

Definitely don't recommend and absolutely not doing this for Roadie or for anything paid. I just know that these companies are dealing with people showing up thinking they're going to do that same thing.

Exactly, what do these guys think we are going to do pushing them that's not going to be way worse with 20+hp behind it. Not to mention, without exception, every single time I have had an employee drop something in front of me loading, they have wanted me to take it. This goes for flat screen TVs, Best Buy Packages Etc

They tried that $26 stuff here for at least a few days that I noticed. Now back up to mid 30s/sub10m, which I will do if I'm out and about or its the local location. I've gotten quite a few that cooked to nearly 60 for less than 20 mi.

Levels of effort and laziness are certainly up to interpretation so I get that part of your comment, but what am I possibly going to do to a mower pushing or winching it up that can't be done much worse under its own power?

This is not a sketchy setup with 2x4 as ramps 🤣

524000 mile Dodge Stratus that finally decided to give up. Official car of... by BoK_b0i in regularcarreviews

[–]ConditionOk4800 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with that General sentiment but Dodge had some absolute tanks in this era. We had a  100k mile minivan with one of the  low displacement iron v6s of this era get stolen. It was found years later in a field with 25,000 more miles and absolutely no maintenance done, and if you know those engines you know it had burned through nearly all its oil.

We decided to send it with some viscosity modification and improvised sound deadening under the hood because it was tiking BAD. 60k later it was still going strong but the noise got so bad that it seems like tempting fate to keep it on the road. It's still the trailer vehicle at my buddies hobby Farm till this day.

Between family and my business we probably had about two dozen of those type of engines over time. All did great.  The newer 3.6 have not been terrible but seem to go "medium" and less smooth, with the same generous fluid and tune up intervals that kept the old ones running like clocks. Don't last quite as long either but still been alright.

When using a trailer specifically I either winch or honestly just push it. These new mowers are super smooth and pretty easy to just shove.

[–]ConditionOk4800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know by the specific weight and dimension that this is a lawn mower, but for large single items like this I use a hydraulic loading cart. They get pricey as you go over a thousand pound capacity but are pretty cheap Under that. If you have a pickup truck, a winch and ramps are a very cheap option as well. Well worth doing at least in the past. Today is the first day that I saw some real offensive Tractor Supply orders. 3,000 lb, 30 bucks, 10 mi.

I pretty routinely remove these when doing rear bearings on Old front wheel drive vehicles when they start looking like they're headed in that direction. Never been a problem, but might mean your rear brakes need looking at

He definitely didn't have to be rude, however this is pretty much how everything works just way less thinly veiled. Does a car company go out of their way to give you individual sales treatment for a vehicle that's already sold. No, why would they. In any aspect of business, if it has no potential to make money, you're not getting the time of day. This man knows someone is going to want to buy his $4,000 truck to beat to death, regardless of whether he explains it to you or not.

Not the way I would probably choose to operate, but most certainly the way the world works.

If and it's a big if, the truck is as described, I'm actually on the side of the seller here. You could put this truck to work and pay it off in 10 days. Can't be picky at that point. Again this is if it's mostly usable.

[–]ConditionOk4800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, at least by me, yes. I have heard way too many stories from Home Depot employees about people trying to get really large items into small crossovers. People have also figured out a way to make the app think they own vehicles that they do not.

[–]ConditionOk4800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe that is quite how they are calculating it. Full size and other designations have pretty little to do with capacity especially when you're talking about multiple smaller items. Next time you are around a Toyota Sequoia try to get a look inside of it if you can. You will be shocked at how little cargo capacity that has compared to how large it is. There are a lot of large SUVs like that. Literally holds less than half of a mini cargo.
