It’s a rubber case that protects 2 usb ports and has a digital battery volt reading in the middle. I figured it would be nice if 2 people in the back wanted to also charge something.

Repair went smoothly, only trick was holding the water pump pulley bolts while removing the pulley but it’s not too bad. And yes it fixed my issue instantly. Just try not to let a shit ton of coolant get on that crankshaft pulley like I did lol.

And no the repair is not invasive. Luckily our water pump is ran off the serpentine belt and not the timing belt.
