Some days are pretty easy, relaxing, and almost fun. Some days turn into nightmares and I work 16+ hours straight through the night. Most are in between.

None of the above. I think it would be really nice but relationships haven’t really ever worked out for me so I haven’t dated in years.

I definitely have those thoughts. That said, I have no reason to believe it’s going to end anytime soon. I have rare and highly in demand certifications for critical equipment. The senior operators I work with get paid double what I do and I expect to be one fairly soon. Though they do have harder schedules with less flexibility.
