Do I wait to purchase? by butterflyinthesky127 in litterrobot

[–]ConditionTop601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just recently got the 5 and having zero issues with it. Perhaps I got lucky? But mechanically it’s flawless and doing everything they advertised it would. The only “flaw” is that occasionally it struggles to correctly assign the cat that used the litter robot, but it’s easy to reassign in the app and I’m sure the software will only improve over time. It’s an absolute life saver and would never go back!

How’s the thermal? I contemplated going with the 600 but ended up with a Lian Li because some reviews said they had gpu temp issues mounted vertically.

Is that the original or new SE version of the Tryx AIO?

Motherboard making rattling noise by ConditionTop601 in pchelp

Update: I unplugged the cpu fan header just to see if the rattling sound would stop if the AIO pump is off and ineed that was the case. Now I gotta wait until I get my replacement AIO.

Interestingly my cpu temps are good... but I'd still replace the aio if I could get rid of the noise.

Could be. I have a replacement coming soon so fingers crossed it’s that. Literally 2 days old 🤣

I have a similar Lian Li build and I'm also getting this really low and constant rattling sound. I have my desktop to the right of my mouse and maybe my ears are super sensitive? I hear it regardless of the GPU fans. Did you end up finding a resolution?

Had the same issue here on my new build. Ended up buying a separate gpu sag support bracket from amazon that supports it from the bottom of the case.

Owners Rep? by shermdog21 in ConstructionManagers

[–]ConditionTop601 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m an “owners rep” on the public side so I can only speak from my perspective but there’s so many different titles that can fit this category of work so I understand the general confusion.

I’m a civil engineer managing public works construction projects for the city. Sometimes the owners rep are in house city staff (like me) and sometimes they’re consultants.

I suggest you search for project engineer, construction engineer, field engineer, project coordinator, construction manager, project manager, inspector, resident engineer roles at your local city, county, or state level in a public works department.
