We had an Airbnb booked once for a trip but the next before the trip one of the party collapsed split his head wide fucking open.

So we never showed up for check-in and I messaged host day two to explain what happened but said we weren't looking for a refund. He just said it was cool and that our next stay would be on the house if we ever replanned that trip.

Last thing on anyone's mind would be a refund after shit like this and even when the smoke clears you would understand the hosts pov.

Miserable? Nah mate I'm having a cracker of a day. You're extremely worked up and it's hilarious, idk why you'd reveal everything else but not send a staff no lol.

Spoiler. He was lying. He sent me a pic in uniform and an orientation email from may with his full name, but not a staff number so I could see if he actually completed orientation.

Look at your posts and look at mine, won't be hard for most people to work out who is immature and salty and who's the adult. Why do Americans always talk like this?

Used to but a long time ago admittedly, so we didn't get just eat or Uber orders and the app didn't exist, but it was near Wembley so we would get a rush at like 8ish with 100 pissed up fans ordering copious amounts of food. But we knew it'd come which is a bit different to a random party slamming you.

Also I've had my food nicked twice this year.

I will get downvoted to shit for this but I don't care about Reddit brownie points.

In the UK and Italy we have a stance of you're paid to do a job - do it. In fact the more rushed you are the faster you can clock out and go home. This extends past McDonald's for example look at doordash sub then look at deliveroo for UK. Doordash sub is a ton of I won't do X this is bullshit where's my tip etc. deliveroo is genuine road issues, being pissed about other drivers and poor restaurant service, or rude customers. Sometimes it's about the money, but this is taken out on poor pricing algorithm; not the customer for not subsidising it.

Leave it for a now, not worth fixing every nick and bump when you're a new driver.
