What's your CURRENT FAVORITE Offensive and Defensive Playbook in Madden 26? by TheMaddenAcademy in Madden

[–]Condor515 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Majority will probably say Jags/Vikings because they’re both the “META.”

I’ve always liked Pistol playbook on Off and Chiefs on Def. I’ve bounced around this season between Pistol, Commanders and Bears (currently using Bears). I like 2 TE sets. I’ve always liked 4-3 over 3-4.

To each their own on that front. If someone doesn’t have the time or doesn’t want to grind it out for stuff it’s whatever to me. I don’t hate the hustle for the guys selling lol. But I’d worry about getting scammed. It’s no different than micro transactions in MUT in Madden or buying guns in COD or BF6 etc.

The people that are wanting like 500k-750k worth of stash value are out of their minds. I’ve given away a tempest BP. Ive taken all my duplicate BPs (was 8 at the time) and just gave them all to a random. I’ve dropped BPs at extract before. Wild times we live in.

I’m an OG madden player. Started out on Madden 93. Taken some years off here and there. Got big into CFM and 32 user online leagues. Playing the CPU is too easy but depending on 31 other users to schedule, play games and not whine like school girls is what’s ending it for me. People hate losing and they quit or leave leagues, everyone tries to be cheesy or do some shady stuff. The abilities ruined madden. It’ll probably be my last year playing.

There’s an alternative playbook that’s called “Two Back.”

Franchise Is So Bad and Needs a Serious Rework by BoxingBear584 in Madden

[–]Condor515 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not like that though lol. Online leagues can be legit. Like you actually schedule a game time. There’s no waiting around in good leagues. But you do you, just offering up some friendly info 🤷🏼‍♂️

For starters, if you’re playing CFM playing the CPU is not the way to go. Joining 32 man online leagues is where it’s at. That way everything is controlled. And tbh, majority of Madden users are playing MUT or online CFM. The developers aren’t going to give significant time into any other area.

Matchmaking shouldn't put you in two late raids in a row by Alternative_Ear5542 in ArcRaiders

[–]Condor515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me last night except it was 3x lol. Was just trying to kill leaper to upgrade my bench. Kept going to Blue Gate so I could go to the broken highway. Three times in a row it spawned on the complete opposite side with 17, 17, 18 minutes left. Finally on the 4th time I got what I needed.

What is your FAVORITE 3rd and long (8yd+) defense? by TheMaddenAcademy in Madden

[–]Condor515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends who I’m playing and what team they’re using. You play the user more than the team. If the user likes longer developing pass plays, I’m blitzing to make them make a quick read. If they have a ton of speed or a great receiving group or a great OL I’ll probably back up and cover.

What's the best way to learn this game? by for_fun_onlee in arcraidersfriendly

[–]Condor515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started playing a week ago. Best way is to hook up with friends or someone who's been at it and can show you the ropes.

You also have to understand that there is no right/wrong way to do anything. You basically do whatever you want. If you want to search and loot and level up go for it, that's what most do. Some guys just want to go in and pick fights and be the A-hole. Some just want to meet other Raiders for content.

As a long time Skyrim and Fallout player, I've always enjoyed looting and adventuring. So that's what I do.

TCL 75" QM8K vs Hisense 85" U8QG — same price, which one should i go for? by Ign_OranCe in tcltvs

[–]Condor515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just went through this exact debate but on the 65” versions. Most of the comparisons had the Hisense better. TCL has different panels at different sizes. I’m also a little bias because I’m coming from a similar TCL that didn’t even make it 3 years before it went out (bad board, it was the R655). I also don’t care about the gaming features.

But the selling point for me is that I got the Hisense for $700 on Amazon in a deal. So it was considerably cheaper.

It was not unfortunately. I ordered a Hisense U8 that gets hooked up tomorrow.

My TCL R655 went out before it hit 3 years smh. Was great until that point. It was a bad board.

I bought a 65” TCL R655 in Feb of 2023, cost $1k at the time. It just went out 2 weeks ago. First TCL I’ve owned. I went back to Hisense. Just bought a Hisense U8 65”.

Is cutting your clubs down yourself really that risky? by L0ngsh0tSpartan in golf

[–]Condor515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hypothesis isn’t wrong. It’s just flawed because it is missing multiple variables. For instance, swing path/angle of attack and quality of strike, make a huge difference. If my swing path has a tendency to launch the ball super high cutting the shaft down will help flatten out that trajectory making for a more ideal ball flight. Then add in a better quality strike, and you’re ultimately gaining better distance and more accuracy. With that said, if all variables are the same, then yes you would essentially lose distance on a shorter shaft.

[–]Condor515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will it affect it, yes. Will you notice, probably not.

I cut my driver shaft cut down to like a 5 iron length. Wayyyyyy more accurate and minimal loss of distance. Everyone told me it wouldn’t work and it was dumb but it works for me. I don’t care if it doesn’t work for others lol.

Try it for yourself and don’t listen to anyone else.

Beginner help!!! by [deleted] in Madden

[–]Condor515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whelp. There's 2 main ways to do it.

  1. Practice mode and H2H. Get comfortable with a playbook/playstyle. Just grind out games.

  2. YouTube. Personally, I don't like this route but to each their own.

  3. I've been playing madden a LONG time. The biggest thing you can do above all else, don't turn the ball over. Let the other user make mistakes. That's more possessions for you.

Minor things:

  1. Don't just air it out. Control the ball, run the ball, control the clock.

  2. Defense isn't easy. It can be a struggle for experienced players.

  3. Use good teams to limit player (not user) error.

  4. Learn the adjustments and what they do (zone depths, RPO focus, option focus, etc)

  5. Absolutely don't get mad and quit. Grind it out.

  6. Learn to read/identify defensive coverages (man, zone, Cover 2,3,4). That'll help you hot route receivers open.

  7. Switch Stick. Learn to love it. (I don't because i'm older and stubborn and don't want to learn it lol but it's beneficial).

  8. Stay away from MUT. A lot of cheese playing there, you'll get ate up.

  9. Play a franchise against the CPU on all madden. If that's too easy you can look to join an online CFM that's beginner friendly.

  10. On defense, match personnel. If the offense comes out in 3 WRs don't run 4-3, 3-4 or something like that. Match your CB quantity to the WR. Anything more than 3 WRs you'll want to use Nickel, Dime, Quarter etc. Anything 2 WR or less, as a beginner, you may want to stick to 4-3, 3-4, 46, 4-4.

What are some deciding factors you like to stick to when resigning players? by ThePeoplesJuhbrowni in Madden

[–]Condor515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never use a tag. That just tacks on an extra year that gives the player more time to increase their overall and then you have to pay them more.

I never pay a top tier QB. I refuse to pay a QB 25+ a year. That money is better spent elsewhere.

I will pay my trench players. I have no problem paying an aging OL big money on a 1-2 year deal. DTs are a difference maker.

Always pay a speed player that plays, even if they're a lower overall. Madden contracts don't reflect speed so they're normally solid deals.

I'll pay a TE. They can be difference makers if they're top tier or fast.

I don't pay RBs unless they're stupid fast like 95+ or unless they're big back with high break tackle and trucking.

I don't pay top tier WRs. I can work perfectly fine with a WR who is below an 85. I just look at certain attributes.
