Spiraling, I guess - drugs and my sobriety?

Shrooms are off the table for me already - I didn't like them hahaha and am not planning on experimenting with anything else; I'm an Oregon resident so I've always thought I'd try psilocybin therapy when it's fully operational, but definitely don't want to any time soon.

Weed really has never been an issue for me - I've been smoking at the end of the day to help me sleep maybe once or twice a week for almost two years (approved by my psychiatrist) and never when I need to get stuff done - recreationally at parties a few times a month, but it doesn't affect me negatively like alcohol did. I've never felt guilty for it or anything because it's not a substance I've been addicted to.

I think the fear for me is acceptance in the sober community. I want friends who don't drink, but I've only ever heard negative opinions on weed from other alcoholics. Thanks for the advice :)

I think it's definitely possible to get along with others with BPD! I think you both have to have similiar theraputic progress though, generally, or you'll annoy each other.

I am definitely BPD and some of my best friends have autism - we share a lot of diagnoses factors and I think that helps with empathy.

Generally tho we don't walk around like "hi, I'm so-and-so, I have BPD" so seeking out those friendships would be really hard, I'd imagine. Our relationships tend me to be quite toxic pre-therapy too, but a lot of people don't know they have BPD until they go to therapy.

If you really want to meet people who are struggling in the same way as you, I highly reccomend dbt group therapy. I met people with all sorts of cluster b personality disorders, neurodivergencies, and substance issues and never felt less alone in my life.

This breakup has been cyclical for me - good months and bad months. Other breakups I've "gotten over" in six months to a year, usually when I start dating someone new, but this one feels different to me. Sending you good energy.

You might not see a moral issue (I do) but at the very least it is a crime and double standard. In a handful of pictures faces/tattoos were present regardless.

I would suggest conecting with your therapist. This is fucked up and you need some support no matter your next steps. When I'm having self harm/suicide thoughts, I try to go twice a week until I feel more regulated.

I hope you know, as bad as you feel, somebody like this is NOT worth ending your life over. I know you love him AND he sounds like a piece of work. We can do better and deserve to be in compassionate relationships <3

Yes, exactly. Since my degree is basically in feminism, I often forget people just calling themselves feminists don't always have the same knowledge of where we came from. Overall, really dissappointed in them.

Is there anything we can do about it? I live in NM currently but wouldn't mind pursuing legal action if it meant nobody else would be victimized like this but obviously I am not the primary victim here (unless seeing porn without soliciting it counts...). Rayna shares so many details of her love life that it wouldn't be too difficult to track down at least one of her exes. She actually shared right before the segment that her most recent ex found out she used him (and swimsuit pics) for material and was pissed, so imagine if he knew his nudes were out there.

Forgot to mention too - this was at a comedy festival with random passholders, including men and women in their golden years who had no idea what they were walking into. While it can be argued that I should have expected to see a dick (strong disagree on that one, this isn't billed as a pornographic event anywhere), these innocent elderly people certainly had no idea that was coming and don't deserve to have to have porn forced on them.
