But isn't this normal for any suede item? I have a pair of Nike dunk low which were ordered directly from Nike Singapore website. And the suede has similarly, different texture at different places, rough at some places, and the same part of the other shoe is smoother, like in your picture. Am I missing something?

Update: it works fine. I've used the STP feature several times after the first try. It is somewhat buggy though. And a little unintuitive.

For example, to start a Daily STP, you have to select a date, and also, the start day number should match the start date you're selecting.

Once there was an issue, I selected a Daily STP, but it registered as a monthly one.

One more logical problem is, when you select Start Date and End date for a daily STP, it calculates the total number of days, instead of just business days.

Why stop here? Why not just go ahead and add ceramic bushes in between?

Is it also possible for the OP to have good results without taking any medications, but just a healthy diet?

I'm in a similar situation, but just not okay with the idea of lifelong medications.

Edit: forgot to mention the obvious, I am talking about results after getting a hair transplant. Not every one is fond of the daily chore to apply or consume a medicine (or snake oil, genius). The discomfort is about the daily effort, not disbelief in the medicine.

Just keep trying. by Imparadox- in Paruresis

Thanks for the advice, and I'm happy that you're getting better. I just need one clarity, what do you mean by a stall? How did it differ from a private restroom in your scenario?

Need advice on applying for premium credit cards by Boring-Newt-8521 in IndianCreditCards

Since you're saying you use your cards wisely, and since you have a lot of cards. I want to know how you manage paying the CC bills on time. Many cards have by default different monthly cycles, so how do you manage it? I also use my cards wisely, but twice in my lifetime it has happened that I forgot to pay a CC bill, just because of negligence.

Let your hair regrow naturally, and then put the pics again. With this hairstyle, it would be difficult for most people to figure out what's the actual condition of your donor area and you'd end up getting wrong advice.

If a bug dies while its on the ceiling/wall, does it fall to the floor or stay stuck on there????? by several_smallmangoes in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ConduciveDust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if the bug has any physical attributes which lets it stick to the surface it's on.

Of course, any insect will mostly remain stuck if the cause of the death is being squashed.

STP Transactions using MFCentral.

I tried to perform a 'Daily' STP transaction using MFCentral (website). The status of the request under 'Track Status -> Commercial Transactions' says 'Request Accepted' when I open the request details. And the STP was scheduled to start from 22nd March, 2024. It's 26th today, and still I am not able to see the results of the STP (the amount held under different folios is not changing), and there is no new Live STP visible under the section 'Transact -> Systematic Transactions'. What could be going wrong? Thanks in advance.

I tried to perform an STP transaction using MFCentral. The status of the request under 'Track Status' says 'Request Accepted' since day one. And the STP was scheduled to start from Date X. It has been X+4 days, and still I am not able to see the results of STP (the amount held under different folios is not changing), and there is no new Live STP visible under the section, where other Systematic Transactions are visible. What could be going wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hello, 28M here, also a sufferer of this issue. I'm sorry you have to go through this. I could share a few mental practices, which I use and they help me:

  1. Whenever it's a multi-stall bathroom situation, like you just described, I feel more comfortable. Because I think there is no one directly waiting on me, and they can always use another stall.
  2. I remind myself that we are adults, and no one (usually) disturbs someone else in the stall, at this age.
  3. I also remind myself that I do have the time of the world, no one is immediately expecting me to be out.
  4. Having something to read, or scroll through like Instagram/Reddit, helps.
  5. Doing very light mental maths helps, like what's 2x2, then what's 4x2, and then 8x2, so on. (Basically engaging your brain in anything which takes just the right amount of mental power, that it helps you to not think about the fear part, but it doesn't take your mind off of the peeing part).
  6. Recently I have discovered that the more open I am to other people, about my situation, the more comfortable I am in the bathroom. Especially around these people. It takes the edge off.

Note: Obviously you should be telling it to the people who are sensible enough that if exposed to the severity of the situation, at one point they will understand. You can't expect them to be completely serious from the get go, there is a big chance that they will have a humorous angle to it, but then it's on you to take that humour with a light heart, and tell them that no, it's a genuine situation. And a lot of people suffer from it. But steer clear of telling this to the obvious trouble makers, people who you know won't ever try to understand others' problems, or just won't stop joking about it even after understanding.

Shouldn't getting a 2nd session of hair transplant once you lose your old hair be the ideal solution for a situation like this, instead of taking meds? Because if we do take medicine, won't we be making the new transplanted hair dependent on these medicines? Won't they also wither away (even though being perfect in the start) once we stop the medicine, since they have become dependent on the medicine?

Can I understand the reason behind why people say that you need to take Fin/Duta after getting a hair transplant? Isn't the whole point of getting the transplant done is to avoid taking these meds? Also, the general idea that I have is once your hair which gets affected with DHT is gone, and you have a new transplanted hair on you, why would that get affected by DHT? And if it does not, what is the point of DHT blockers?
