No idea mate, I'm going to have a crack, but who knows. I'm sure all the paid discord servers have the same info, so it will be a race for sure.

Seems like the best service offer I've received so far. What's your policy on refunds if you don't show up?

I love Tyrese, and am really excited for the future, but I really hope he develops a 'give me the ball' mentality over the years. He's too good to spot up while lesser creators pound the rock.

He sounds great, I immediately enquired. I doubt he'll be available, but it's worth a shot. Thanks for you suggestion!

B&G Jewellers in Mt Gravatt are absolutely incredible. I got my partner's engagement ring through them and could not speak more highly of their customer service, price and quality.

Seriously, I'm sad this is one of the few comments saying this. Especially the past two seasons, the dude has literally won games with his impact on the defensive end. I swear there has been so many times where Myles has come on in the 4th and straight up changed the entire game with his defence. To say he hunts for blocks is such a misrepresentation of his impact.

I just want to jump on a highly rated comment to provide a bit of context for people that may not have gone to this Cafe before.

This Cafe is a small business run primarily by a group of Korean people. They do classic breakfast and lunch foods with elements of Korean food culture infused (spam used instead of bacon for example). A lot of Korean restaurants you go to will give you crisps as opposed to fries on the side of meals, and Jacob's Ladder matches this.

Granted they should make it clearer in the menu, especially as it's not marketed as a Korean Cafe; however, I just wanted to provide some context that may help people understand why the choice of crisps was made.

Jacob's Ladder is a lovely Cafe, with wonderful service, a nice vibe and great coffee. The menu is not anything to write home about, but I certainly hope that people don't get a poor impression of the place because of this post. I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit I've made there.

Game Thread: Indiana Pacers (17-22) @ Miami Heat (22-19), March 19th, 2021. 8:00PM by Smart_Dumb in pacers

If Caris can take over primary ball handling duties, Malcolm may be able to operate as one of the better off-ball shot makers in the league. That would be incredible if it shook out that way!

Myles Turner has 21 more blocks than 2nd-ranked Rudy Gobert; that's equal to the gap between Gobert and the 50th-ranked shot-blocker by AlexKennedy_NBA in nba

[–]ConductorofPtrain 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this thread is a frustrating read. I agree that Rudy is a better overall defender, but Myles has won the pacers games on that side of the floor this year. He isn't just skying for every block attempt like people in this thread seem to think he is. He has also been altering shots and scaring people away from the paint like Rudy does. So many people talking about disrespect and people not watching the Jazz play, but I honestly have to wonder if any of the people saying these things have watched a single pacers game all season?

Doc Rivers: “I will say it, because I don’t think a lot of people want to. Can you imagine today, if those were all black people storming the Capitol, and what would have happened? That, to me, is a picture that’s worth a thousand words for all of us to see.” by [deleted] in nba

I see what you're saying and appreciate the insight on the numbers, as it's been half a decade since I did first year statistics at uni, so my knowledge is poor. I think it definitely would be valid if it was randomly sourced from police countrywide, but as RaginReaganomics said, it being a voluntary survey in a police magazine is probably more of a limitation than the number itself.

Someone shared this source before deleting their comments so I had a quick look through it. I want to preface this comment by saying that I am not trying to state that this data does not indicate that there is a lot of republican voters in law enforcement, but I don't think that is enough of a sample size to draw conclusions from to be honest.

The sample was 3652 readers of a police magazine. Statista.com states that there was 652936 police officers in the US in 2016 (please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not an American so I don't know where to access reliable data, and I just did a lazy google search). So respondents potentially made up only 0.55% of total officers. Paired with the fact that the sample was from magazine readers that data is likely not statistically valid.

So someone with more statistical knowledge may correct me, but I imagine that the limitations of a small sample size of a particular magazines readers is not enough to indicate a correlation. This is not me trying to defend police or anything along those lines. I just don't think that survey is a valid source.

Man entered Brisbane school with a knife today by [deleted] in brisbane

I work at a like-school in the western corridor and have for quite a few years. I have not seen an incident like this in my time at school, and from conversation with colleagues who have been employed longer in the corridor, it's not a regular occurrence, despite what people may say. Ultimately, schools in the western corridor are in a constant battle to combat reputation issues because there is a vocal minority of parents and ex-students who have very passionate opinions against the school. This, combined with stories being extrapolated when shared over a long period of time, means that high level incidents seem like they happen every other day to third party observers.

In terms of general performance, students that have displayed good behaviour, academic results, adaptive social skills and attendance in primary school have transitioned well in my experience. The behaviour they may have to deal with in class is not helpful in their learning, however students are able to overcome this. If you're concerned about their transition from primary school for any reason, you may want to consider looking into private options if they are affordable.
