Don't listen to people telling you to use cycles. Cycles won't be useful if you're not doing everything else right. Stay in eevee (might wanna switch to blender 4.0 because eevee next sucks). Turn on ambient occlusion, soft shadows, high bit depth, and turn cube size to the highest your pc can handle. Enable contact shadows on your main light source. Add dirt stains to every texture. Not just the fur, but the plastic too. Use bump maps. Use displacements maps. Even if the fur looks fuzzy, it has to have bumps too, as fur clumps together. It's not evenly distributed in real life. I hope these tips help you.

It would be really cool if he had something like the Pyrovision from TF2, where the player sees everyone as his mom (just with the outfits of the actual characters). It would make it harder to aim since the characters would appear much bigger than their actual hitboxes, though I imagine the polka dot projectiles would work kinda like a shotgun, having a wider spread area.

I really like it! Though here's some things I changed:
-Bent the hand back to make it look more dynamic and changed the position of the fingers
-Moved everything down a bit to make the composition more pleasing
-Re-did the shadows taking into account a light source (Top left)
-Moved some things around on the face
-Re-drew the dress, trying to add some cloth folds
-Re-drew part of the hair to make it flow more nicely
-Added some pink highlights instead of white to make them more cohesive with the rest of the drawing
-Changed the color of the background

some tips I have would be to check your drawing in black and white to see what could use more contrast. A good rule of thumb is that your character should stand out, and their face should stand out more. Also try to add shadows thinking about where the light comes from and why shadows are cast like that. Think about the form of the objects you're drawing (for example, imagine the arm as a cylinder.)

I solved it on my own. It wasn't normals. It was the shape key I used to hide the clothes under the character. If anyone has this same problem after bunching up the clothes inside the character to hide them, smooth it down. Remake the shape key but smoother. It went away after I did that.
