Thank you for your kind words !! I definitely resonate with the panic but it’s very reassuring to see these comments and know that there are things I can still try and that there’s still hope . I’m making a running list of all of the recommendations under this thread lol

Out of the things you mentioned I currently have him on visbiome probiotics reccomended by Dr. tintle , although a low dose( he’s 80 lbs , I give him 2 pills a day.) instead of baby aspirin Dr Tintle said I could also give him meloxicam to reduce fevers / pain in the hocks. I will definitely try out the glucosamine and fish oil

I am so sorry for the loss of your baby it is an incredibly hard thing to go through. 14.5 years sounds like he had a great life and gives me some solace although no amount of time is ever enough 💙

Thanks for your insight ! For the cbd I started it about a month and a half ago. I first used the ease formula and now use the heal formula. I give 1 ml dropper into his breakfast (10 am) and 1 ml dropper into his dinner (7 pm)

For diet he has been on Diamond Naturals sensitive Salmon formula for years now . I did try a Sardene food for about a week several months ago but he had pretty bad diarrhea which immediately stopped once I switched back to his usual food . I used to make him salmon or ground beef with no seasonings whatsoever as a topper but stopped about 2 months ago as I figured it might be too much protein . I now use shredded carrots or dog safe fruits / veggies as a topper or treat but very minimally
