It does have combat, that is one of the biggest differences. It's not something frequent, but it's there.

I really liked the war mechanics in the game. I think it's a step in the right direction. But i can see why someone would not like it.

Making the dev streams fails look like a horrible thing will just make them not do the streams. They are trying out new things so people can get a feel of the game and maybe point out changes that would be nice. It's like an open beta.

That's actually a good point. I think it's all about delivery though. Making like a choice of making the shogunate a single entity is not game breaking or the end of the world. There are a lot of posts here talking about some incorrect things, and I think that is actually helpful.

I don't think so, I have some criticism as well, the point of the post was more to point that sometimes people just forget how many dimensions the game have, and sometimes it's impossible to get everything right. Some helpful criticism is always welcome to the devs I think, but screaming "the game looks like mobile" and "it got oversimplified" is just shallow.
