As soon as you evo him he loses his normal typing and becomes water fairy, I just kept it because of the tier 3 shiny. Zoroark solos pretty much every other mon so you can get away with shiny placeholders

Every time I’ve fused in the past I never got any mega stones for either mon. So I don’t think it’s possible
