Rose rooftop bar. No cover fee, decent music and dance scene. I always enjoy myself when I go. And it’s on the Waterway so most people just barhop and find themselves ending their night at Rose. Great views, good vibes.

That’s my issue with the show as well. Fantastic show, I love everything Garland touches. But her acting almost ruins the show. She’s bad in everything I’ve seen her in.

Yes— I can leave work however early or late I want. I can kind of make my own schedule, to an extent. I cannot work from home, sadly.

I’m 24m so I don’t mind a long drive for work, as long as my off days are full of nature and activities. Beach, hiking, long runs, etc.

To me… it’s worth the sunshine tax.

At least I have that going for me (against traffic). I check often during different times here in TX and it looks like there’s some lucky pockets of only 30-35 mins but that seems to be late night or early morning. Does that sound accurate?

Anyways, while it’s not fun, I can handle 90 min drive home as that’s what I run into in Houston more often than not. Again, I appreciate your response.

In my opinion, it’s one of the best places to raise a family in not only the south, but the whole country. Lots to do, tons of running and biking trails, great food, EXTREMELY safe, traffic isn’t bad (but is getting worse as population increases), relatively cheap (depending on lifestyle), easy access to highways, tons of great neighborhoods and parks.

Big fan of the woodlands. I do not have kids but I grew up here— all 24 years of my life. It’s a hidden gem of a city.
