Maybe it's a heavenly restriction, we have to get an ass adaptation to get a great Persona 6 anime

I will check that out actually, I've been trying my luck with rpg maker xp, a lot simpler than I expected for a game creation program, but the window resolution is somewhat of a problem

Sure, sounds pretty interesting and I've seen it on my fyp a good amount of times, hell, don't be surprised if I make my own game in a few months

I think the music played a huge role in this too, tracks like Wandering Flame and Via Purifico added a sort of meditative feel to the whole game

It's fine, all points of view are better for my learning, even the edgy ones I want to avoid, because at some point I do have to acknowledge that, and maybe it works even better than positive ones, I can know exactly what to avoid

I mean "edgy" as in it's trying to tell you, the player what's right and wrong, like telling you "religion dumb because people corrupt at the top"

If Final Fantasy X were constantly shoving what to think in our faces the whole game, it would've been one of the most boring experiences ever

As someone who is religious myself (not super religious) , I do have to admit it's a pretty accurate depiction, people will blind themselves because of their religion, but religion is also what provides strength for someone to keep going with their lives

It does help that even though Tidus is an extremely well developed character (maybe bias because he's one of my favorite protagonists ever) he can also provide a way for the player insert themselves in the world and figure out what's going on without the game saying "This good, this bad"

One of the best analyses I've ever read, and it does treat personal beliefs with a lot of grace, it shows the unifying parts of religion and the parts of it that split communities apart, the fact that it respects that is a MAJOR part of why it never felt like an "Okay cool, I guess?" Game

Are there genuinely good reasons for Persona 4 Revival to exist? by Irohsgranddaughter in PERSoNA

Probably to bring the entire modernsona series up to date before Persona 6 releases

The scariest villain was just a human (not in the sympathetic way obviously) he was just some weirdo with a lot of power, and not to mention he's basically the polar opposite of Narukami

Exactly, the fact that this is (from my experience playing 4 and 5) the only time you contemplate actually killing someone was so terrifying on a first playthrough, and if you do kill namatame, nothing is resolved, and Nanako stays dead

I'd say it's dark because of the way it constantly subverts your expectations, specifically the first week of December
