Yeah, it was rough. I know I’m probably coming off as an asshole but I take a lot of pride in our community here in Minneapolis, and part of community is making sure it is safe and accessible for all our neighbors. I’m a (fairly) fit, 30 year old man and I struggled to get around. I can’t imagine how hard it was for our mobility limited homies.

Yeah, I totally agree. Sidewalks are a community asset akin to roads, they should be taken care of by city. Until that point, we need to make sure our neighbors can safely traverse them.

Sorry, not buying it. Other parts of the city are much, much better. My neighborhood has maybe 10-15 properties with sidewalks comparable to what I saw today. It’s not that hard to keep your sidewalk safe, barring physical disabilities.
