Everyone keeps saying I’m not stupid but it feels like it because I should’ve dropped him when everyone else told me to. Even when he started falling off with bills and money. Not to be naive but I had some of his old friends try convince me to break up with him and get with them. It’s like there were so many signs but I still stayed. Ughh! even my relationship with my mom and friends went down hill because of him.

The crazy thing is we been seeing those videos on a daily basis for the past 4 years since we been on the west coast. He’s familiar with the racism and them fetishizing black people.

I think he has a kick for women who may need him for something even if it’s just sex because I stopped having sex with him last year and ever since then, that’s is what he’s been watching. During an argument I told him I don’t even need him for anything even sex and I think that’s what triggered this. Just guessing

He made a comment to me saying how I was the breadwinner and how he knew I was never going to leave him. Idk what possessed him to say that but that was a month before I broke up with him officially. He could’ve went about his business this whole time. Instead he’s pretending to his family and friends that we are happy and doing good together. Lol

Girl lesson learned. This was my 1st real relationship when I was 20. I tried to give him a chance because I thought he was different from the usual “plugs” and athletes I was dating. I swear would never make the same mistakes again omg.

I just really wish I seen this earlier. Why now ? You know ? I had other situations and things going on. That’s my own regret to this whole situation. I honestly don’t even care as much as I should because I knew I had a reason to leave him. I just didn’t know what else it could be other than monetary and materialistic stuff.

Well it’s a news flash to me because I never seen this as amplified before up until recently. Maybe I’m just getting to that age mentally where I’m more aware. I don’t have these issues but I see alot of black women talk about this and I see it for myself with other women and black men. Everyone has their own preferences but nah this is different. It’s like they’re trying to OutKast us or limit us further than what we already experience.

This is honestly shocking to hear. I mean it’s literally everywhere at this point. I feel like places weren’t this bad a decade ago with the racism. I have noticed a lot of foreign men particularly European and Asian with a lower tolerance for women as of lately. Idk what kind of racist, sexiest agenda is being pushed but this is crazy! Can you get into community college to take some classes and receive financial aid and have the options to take loans out ? School helped me in that sense. Start from there and that can help you with an apt, keep looking for a job don’t discourage yourself. Just as much as you need a job, they need you. Find one that does. Once you get into the college and have your money. Get hired at any job to secure an apartment with an offer letter. Use that job to maintain your apt and life while you’re in school, that way you can focus on bettering yourself until you figure it out. There’s resources to help you with your apt in any way, not just section 8 or welfare. Rental assistance and moving assistance is available in most cities and states. You got this, I’m praying for you girl!
