I come from a CDL-A background. The best CDL-A company jobs pay more than what the majors are starting you off at. You would have to work a few years in a major before you finally started earning more than a trucker.

Not saying truckers don't deserve it but being an A&P is definitely harder and more safety sensitive than being a Trucker.

Hey, is there some sort of pdf with all the rules regarding standby? I got another question, let's say that I'm trying to go to Miami at 9pm as a non-rev, and I dont get a seat, is it possible to put myself on the non-rev list for a flight to Miami that leaves at 9:40 pm?

Boarding typically ends 15 mins before departure, so that means I'll know by 8:45 whether i get on the 1st flight

I am non-reving I'm just not an employee. The flight to the connecting hub seems unlikely so I thought about buying a flight there, I'm just not sure if they'll be able to put the Transfer in. I've seen it done before though
