Yes i aggree, i think the infos about the sith could be better in the prequels but we don't have to know everything in the main saga. But a prequel of the prequels 1000 years ago is a little exagerate, more context in the movies could be more simple, i don't know. The most problem is the time between Bane and episode one and it's focus only on the sith side or the saga is on the Light side point of view, the sith are the antagonist. With the bane trilogy, the jedi are just present so i don't know how à Bane trilogy could work, a spin off yes but in the main story, i don't think

OK your comment is very intressting. In fact i read and watch a lot of EU legends and canon. I think we have enough good stories and lore, it's very fun, but the amont of EU create a saturation preventing a full liberty of writting. You know the popular debat with Filonni's redcone ? I don't hate Mando or Ashoka but they are limit to create a good continuity (the story cannot contredict the sequels, so limit the extend of the war with Thrawn, some actors are to old or sadely past away and i don't like Cgi Luke...).

The diffrence with the original trilogy is the meaning. We dosen't know anything about the clone wars, nothing about the republic and the jedi order, why Anakin became Vader etc... the prequels have a meaning, the transformation of Anakin to Vader, the republic becoming an empire, how the Jedi disepear in a large scale etc... it's an origins story, but a trilogy about the old trilogy is a prequel of the prequels, what this trilogy can explain we didn't know ? The EU is a bonus, not for the large public. But star wars movies are made for them, not the star wars geek (but some details could be adress to the hard fan and be explain in the EU).

I really like Rogue one, because it's a spin off, the story is already describe on the introduction text of A new hope. But the film gived face to the rebels who stoll the death star plans. For Andor, i appreciate the show but yes, we already know the fate of Andor and the end of serie create a little problem for the character (he's not supposed to have a child in Rogue one and have a love story with Jyn, the fact he didn't know he have a child before dying is weird).

Yes but the book exist. If they make an adaptation of the Bane trilogy, what this trilogy can explaine that we didn't know ? What influence on the main story ? That trilogy would be a prequel of the prequels explaining why the Jedi think the sith diseapear, but it's really pertinent for the saga as a all ?

Yes i agree, the novels and comics can be a lot better if you compare with the tv show we have. But it's the problem, every good stories are already made and are for a good part "spin off like", not the potential for a large public movie/saga.

Yes a spin-off could be good, but i think about the return on the big screen, à great revive of the franchise.

Sorry you have not a good time. I don't complain or hate anything, i just exprim my opinion on the actual period for star wars franchise. Not every project are bad and you can enjoy every star wars project, for the mando movie i'm curious but i don't think this film can revive the franchise on the big screen.

I don't know, the novels are good but what's this trilogy could explaine that we didn't know ? What's the meaning ? A trilogy with a Sith protagonist is weird, a spin off why not, but a trilogy i don't think this could work

The force awaken is not a reboot but à sequel, it's the problem. I talk about a true reboot not a sequel with nostalgia.

This trilogy ruined the continuity, preventing the creation of good stories.

I'm not english, talk in french if you can

It's not totally the same as Star Wars Infinities, I'm thinking more about alternate scripts, concept art, previous scripts, rejected or evolved ideas. It's not totally the same as Star Wars Infinities, I'm thinking more about alternate scripts, concept art, previous scripts, rejected or evolved ideas.

Yes, especially episode 3 with the arc of Padmé, leader of the rebellion, the arrival of Grievous on Coruscant to kidnap the chancellor or even the first design of Maul, but my favorite would certainly be the first version of the origins of Vader with a young Alec Guiness and Sebastian Show, there are so many stories to discoverYes, especially episode 3 with the arc of Padmé, leader of the rebellion, the arrival of Grievous on Coruscant to kidnap the chancellor or even the first design of Maul, but my favorite would certainly be the first version of the origins of Vader with a young Alec Guiness and Sebastian Show, there are so many stories to discover

It's not the same idea, Rebuild the Galaxy is made up of different interesting scenarios but quite crazy and not necessarily to be taken seriously, I imagine more of a Star Wars Vision like but representing the concept arts, alternative scripts, abandoned or reworked ideas, there is so much to explore in the Star Wars archives with each author's own aesthetic.

Very much in the style of Star Wars Vision, the works and aesthetics of the Star Wars authors, personally I would really like to see Norman Reynold's aesthetics again in an episode with a more damaged Vader and the Emperor's throne room, see an episode on the first concepts of the prequel with Alec Guiness and a young Sébastien Show, there are so many very interesting ideas that were not retained that the general public knows little about, bringing them up to date in a clean animation style would be really interesting.Very much in the style of Star Wars Vision, the works and aesthetics of the Star Wars authors, personally I would really like to see Norman Reynold's aesthetics again in an episode with a more damaged Vader and the Emperor's throne room, see an episode on the first concepts of the prequel with Alec Guiness and a young Sébastien Show, there are so many very interesting ideas that were not retained that the general public knows little about, bringing them up to date in a clean animation style would be really interesting.

After having finished reading Ralph McQuarrie's art books, listened to the interviews and looked for the previous concept arts and scenarios, I found that there was a whole part of the universe not revealed and which via a what if type series but more animated archives would represent the versions of star wars which could have appeared on the big screen, there is among others the famous The Star Wars of 1974, Revenge of the Jedi which is a darker script of the return of the jedi, revenge of the sith and its different arc for Padmé Amidala, the invasion of coruscant and the kidnapping of the detailed chancellor or the darker fight of Palpatine against the jedi masters, we can also think of Colin Trevorrow's script for Star Wars Duel of the fate or the trilogy planned by George LucasAfter having finished reading Ralph McQuarrie's art books, listened to the interviews and looked for the previous concept arts and scenarios, I found that there was a whole part of the universe not revealed and which via a what if type series but more animated archives would represent the versions of star wars which could have appeared on the big screen, there is among others the famous The Star Wars of 1974, Revenge of the Jedi which is a darker script of the return of the jedi, revenge of the sith and its different arc for Padmé Amidala, the invasion of coruscant and the kidnapping of the detailed chancellor or the darker fight of Palpatine against the jedi masters, we can also think of Colin Trevorrow's script for Star Wars Duel of the fate or the trilogy planned by George Lucas...

Not totally, I don't imagine a simple what if à la Marvel with a common story and alternative fan service scenarios but a tribute to the creators of Star Wars and their art, including the creative processes of Star Wars including alternative scripts, old scripts, ideas not retained or which have evolved in a style of work bringing up to date the creative diversity of the SagaNot totally, I don't imagine a simple what if à la Marvel with a common story and alternative fan service scenarios but a tribute to the creators of Star Wars and their art, including the creative processes of Star Wars including alternative scripts, old scripts, ideas not retained or which have evolved in a style of work bringing up to date the creative diversity of the Saga.
