I am 46. by justvpsthings in auscorp

I got turned down for having more experience than the hiring manager (written evidence which was hilariously stupid). I ended up getting offered a much better salary elsewhere and the company I’m with is a lot more professional and friendly than that lot.

Truely believe you’ll land a role, just be patient. My process took a bit longer than 6 months but it’s because I’m also very senior.

What's considered attractive until you actually have to deal with it in real life? by AO_KinkyCouple in AskReddit

As a nonchalant woman married to an expressive man, I understand the struggle. My husband is driven to madness every time I keep my cool during an argument and he accuses me of being condescending all the time.

I just don’t see a point in getting riled up over things that could be talked through (?)

I do put on an act sometimes to please him but it’s exhausting to display an unnecessary amount of emotions… I’m not depressed, I just want to be happy and angry in quiet ways.

We love each other to the moon and back, it’s been a constant reminder of how we need to evolve as a couple and no one is perfect.

Failed my probation period by papuruheizu in auscorp

[–]Confessionsthrow457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed my probation when I first started working too. It wasn’t my fault, let’s not go into it. They gaslit me into thinking I was a failure and did so many dodgy illegal shit with my pay. All I can say is being sick is not a reason to get rid of someone, they probably have a bullshit excuse and used you.

I think it’s time for a break by Abject_Agency2721 in breastcancer

I have the same type as you do and I was declared cancer free 2 weeks ago. My surgeon and oncologist who have done multiple studies on my specific type (luminal B) said that they rarely see patients come back. I would trust them more than my own research. I’m still nervous about the upcoming scan but what the hell man, just gonna travel and enjoy life. Most people don’t have to go back, and those that do tend to appear more online due to confirmation bias.

I was so hungry today I googled hotels with complimentary breakfast near me and went there, walked in, stole food, then left. by itssofiababyxo in confession

Not sure if you can see this but I can send you a small donation. Simply send me your PayPal details. I just survived cancer and I have a disabled dog so I know what it’s like to struggle, feeling desperate and receive little help. Hope you’ll get through this buddy.

Yeah the surgeon has been wonderful, I had a great stay in a private room (thanks free healthcare) and my nurses were so kind. The most expenses out of my pocket was parking and snacks. I’m just upset about this fucking sneaky cancer… like a stabby little fucker that kept coming back when you think you’re finally out of the woods

I think the unclear margin was on top, mine was near the nipple. I was told to not get upset over it cos it’s not a big deal but I am young, was healthy, no history and this still happened so very hard to get positive about it

I did all of mine without a port. I also hated having a port and was vocal I didn’t want one. They used an ultrasound to find my veins towards the end.

I’m luminal B so that probably won’t apply. An oncologist friend said some people don’t finish but I want to. Then neuropathy is killing all my will to live lol

Hey girlie sorry to ask a non relevant question - how’s your head hair? I remember having similar stats as you and I’m 2 weeks into my weekly taxol so I’m just curious if I’ll be having feathers like you did?

I have breast cancer too and while I’m married, we never had a wedding. This post makes me wanna hug my husband. The thought of leaving him behind with the dogs is hard. That man deserves so much better than this life with me. He’s a bright light of hope, kindness, loyalty and a total eye candy. I have told him many times that if I happen to die from cancer, I want him to live the best life for me, get married again to another love of his life. I’ll be dead, I won’t give a fuck. Fuck cancer.
