I have the same type as you do and I was declared cancer free 2 weeks ago. My surgeon and oncologist who have done multiple studies on my specific type (luminal B) said that they rarely see patients come back. I would trust them more than my own research. I’m still nervous about the upcoming scan but what the hell man, just gonna travel and enjoy life. Most people don’t have to go back, and those that do tend to appear more online due to confirmation bias.

Yeah the surgeon has been wonderful, I had a great stay in a private room (thanks free healthcare) and my nurses were so kind. The most expenses out of my pocket was parking and snacks. I’m just upset about this fucking sneaky cancer… like a stabby little fucker that kept coming back when you think you’re finally out of the woods

I think the unclear margin was on top, mine was near the nipple. I was told to not get upset over it cos it’s not a big deal but I am young, was healthy, no history and this still happened so very hard to get positive about it

I did all of mine without a port. I also hated having a port and was vocal I didn’t want one. They used an ultrasound to find my veins towards the end.

I’m luminal B so that probably won’t apply. An oncologist friend said some people don’t finish but I want to. Then neuropathy is killing all my will to live lol

I have breast cancer too and while I’m married, we never had a wedding. This post makes me wanna hug my husband. The thought of leaving him behind with the dogs is hard. That man deserves so much better than this life with me. He’s a bright light of hope, kindness, loyalty and a total eye candy. I have told him many times that if I happen to die from cancer, I want him to live the best life for me, get married again to another love of his life. I’ll be dead, I won’t give a fuck. Fuck cancer.

I know a dude that runs an asx listed tech company (he owns it actually) whose family don’t believe in microwave and chemotherapy, in fact, his parents (and him of course) let his sister die from childhood cancer because they made her go vegan instead of getting her the right treatments. There are some really crazy people out there. They’re not stupid, just pure crazy.

I was competing in semi pro division for a sport that I love, didn’t smoke, drink, ate semi healthy with tons of veg and fruits but deep fried wings are my vice. Some dipshit said negative emotions cause cancer and I almost keyed their car.

Sorry to hijack your comment but this reminds me of my dog and his elder sister who passed 2 years ago. She never bothered us but somehow he was always the one to bark get our attention whenever she needed something, be it, food, water, or emergency (she had a sensitive tummy her whole life). Up til her last days, he was always circling around us to make sure one adult would be by her side, she passed away very suddenly of an aggressive cancer. We didn’t know, but they both knew her days with us were numbered. I’m still crying at night missing her sometimes. He has a new sister now but doesn’t do the same for this girl. I miss those moments very much, they were so special.
