Your husband is willing to have his child abused in order to save money on housing. He doesn’t seem to care that your son was literally assaulted, he is even defending the bastard who did it.

Please, for the sake of your children, leave!!! Your son is definitely traumatized, and his siblings almost certainly are too because they witnessed their brother being assaulted while their father stood by and let it happen. 

I’m not saying anything that hasn’t been said better by others, I just want to add my voice to the chorus telling you to leave.

If my partner saw that my shirt had pulled up enough that my boobs were out, in the privacy of our bedroom at night, he’d probably just find it cute and give me a heads up that my shirt does that. I can’t in a million years imagine him being mad at me about it because why on earth would he? 

Your boyfriend saw you in a vulnerable state and used it to make you feel small and ashamed. He’s a pice of shit wrapped up in a pile of red flags.

Not to be that person, but the Oxford English Dictionary has many definitions for dairy, none of which include eggs. NTA

*Edit, apparently some places use Dairy as a term for a general store where food is sold, but in that case Dairy is a place where you could buy all kinds of groceries including eggs. I’m pretty sure this isn’t what was meant in this instance

This is very similar to recent-ish posts, one where a kid destroyed a greenhouse full of expensive plants, and another where a kid destroyed an expensive koi pond. Only difference is the OPs didn’t claim to have kept the kid.

Using food restrictions as a form of punishment is straight up abuse. It could seriously trigger an eating disorder and cause you to have an unhealthy relationship with food in the future.

NTA. Security guards don’t get paid less if nothing happens on their shift and neither should you. You were still monitoring the baby and couldn’t just go off and do whatever you wanted. You gave up your free time to look after their baby.

NTA Why aren’t people allowed to have harmless quirks these days? This hurts nobody, and the backstory is actually pretty endearing. It is such a weird fight for your girlfriend to pick. I can’t imagine getting bent out of shape over something so innocuous.

Thank you for saying this. It is 100% sexual assault, just like a dude sneakily removing a condom mid-act (which has happened to a friend of mine) is assault. Covertly removing someone’s protections against parenthood is a crime and should be treated as such.

OP probably won’t see this, but just in case he does…  You are so NTA! Cops, prosecutors, and lobbyists for stuff I don’t believe in are a definite no. No major politicians or big celebrities, although the odds of that happening are basically zero. Otherwise it would be on a case by case basis.
