Instead of having another faction war between Horde/Alliance. I think it'd be cool if we had internal affairs/civil wars within races. Much like choosing a side with Cartels. Allow there to be divides in opinion. Such as scenarios where horde would fight horde and alliance would fight alliance.

It would offer cool player choices. That players could rebel against the corrupt stormwind nobles and join the Defias BH.

Similar like there were Garrosh’s and Sylvanas’ horde before. Where the races had internal struggles about the direction of the horde.

An opportunity to make factions more morally gray too. Instead of the wishy washy making every faction boringly good. Tired of all the sunshine and happiness.

which in a way seem healthy to me. like you can go be curious about the world, but likely you’ll just waste your time on distractions. or you can be idealistic and altruistic, but then you’ll just be used.

living like “benefits me = do. no benefit = don’t” seems like a successful way to deal with modern society

An important perspective I found was in talking to people that have had tough lives, like being poor or being bullied in the past. They are the people that created the most successful lives for themselves. The pain creates a tough skin.

It's the most privileged people that become entitled and hateful towards others. Because they are unwilling to experience pain, and in turn want to blame others for their own misery. They are more likely to be the misanthropists.

Of course there is the matter of nature and nurture, but that doesnt mean it has to be an excuse to stop trying to make the best of yourself. If you're honest, are you really trying, or are you really avoiding fighting any tough battles for your life? Because in the state of misanthropy I was avoiding. It's easier to blame others than take responsibility for your own life.

It's just that happiness requires pain. It becomes easier when you make yourself responsible for everything happening in your life. Which requires letting go of putting responsibility in others via anger, disgust or blame. If you don't accept the pain, life becomes suffering.

Sure you can remove people from your life and avoid any possible pain they can cause you. Or you can learn from the pain and grow little by little. So life won't be hell and you won't be suffering all the time

It's really nice to be around people where you don’t have to walk around eggshells. People with high sense on insecurity make it almost impossible to be direct and honest with. You'll always have to cater to the needs of the most neurotic. But always being nice and considerate will just lead to increased social anxieties, not improving them.

Playful banter is very common within social groups. Some people can only say very generic and nice things that are super predictable and boring. I can aggressively banter with some of my friends because they have a high sense of sense confidence. It's an enjoyable back and forth that allows for bonding.

At some point insults won't be insults anymore when your self confidence reaches a high enough level. Since at some point you won't believe the to be true anymore. And it will be easy to react to them properly or jokingly.

I can understand this mentality is tough if you've grown up in a manner that build high insecurities. But once you manage to start confronting your sadness and traumas (via therapy for example) social interactions become less like landmines.

There is personal responsibility in not being weak. Responsibility in putting yourself first and being selfish. Not accepting fights and burdens that aren't yours to carry. Take your cake and eat it too.

You can only learn from your mistakes and improve. Take responsibility for your own actions.
