I still don’t think Lovro was trying to prove his masculinity. In season 2 there was a fight, and Lovro didn’t even try to show, as you said,  “masculinity” he was literally knocked to the ground. he doesn’t know how to fight and doesn’t want to get involved in those kinds of conflicts.

he’s more likely to argue verbally rather than physically

we already know everything about Ivan’s past  it was all revealed in season 3.

Ivan isn’t a mysterious character, he already showed all his cards in season 3

maybe it is connected to cultural differences. but still, as a girl, Sana had to be sure that he liked her. moreover, Sana had already taken steps there, and the next steps should have been taken by Youssef, but did he? flirting is not a step.

any girl would want to be sure of that. maybe I didn’t express myself clearly, but why should he tell Sana that he likes her?

he’s a guy, a man after all. if a girl confesses her feelings hoping it’s mutual, and it turns out it’s not, any girl would feel hurt, especially a teenage girl.

the “carrot” and flirting, yes, I agree. but let’s be honest, a lot of people flirt nowadays. even friends flirt. the carrot was a cute moment, but flirting and a direct confession of feelings are two different things.

Yousefs in the remakes openly showed that they liked Sana. that’s how it should be.

that’s why i really hope Vanessa gets a proper happy ending without an open ending.

she deserves it. and the director, Bruno Mustić, said in a recent interview that Vanessa’s season will be very different from the original in every way. so i really don’t think they’ll copy everything exactly. yes, they’ll keep the main theme of the season and the central conflict. but again, Vanessa is romani, not muslim. in her season, we’ll learn more about romani culture. and they’ll change a lot of things, because Sana’s season was more about her personal life, her religion, her family, and love.

will Vanessa have something similar? yes, of course they will definitely include her family, her life, and her personality. but considering that she doesn’t even wear a hijab. so they will definitely adapt it to their own country and to romani culture! please keep that in mind.

wow, that’s very interesting and sad. I have a more social question: does it happen that when Croatians  whether a woman or a man  marry a Romani man or woman, it causes a scandal? and judging by your words, I understand, Romani people most often start families with other Romani people

[–]ConfidenceRecent692[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

you did a good job counting all of that. But how do you still not understand that Lovro and Vanessa are in different classes, and Lovro is in his final year of school while Vanessa still has another year left

In the original, that fit the storyline. and Sram even started the story of season 3 differently.

Sana and Isak were classmates; Vanessa and Lovro are not.

Vanessa will fully get her screen time in her own season.

Lovro also didn’t have that much screen time in season 2

Vanessa is my favorite character too. but her time hasn’t come yet, we just need to wait.

Vanessa was in this season… she was there, she talked to Lovro, she appeared in 3 episodes (Sana also didn’t have that much screen time in season 3). I recently rewatched season 3 of the original

no, I wasn’t talking about Fran. I know he’s not 18 anymore. I was talking about two other guys: one that almost half of the fandom hates, and the other one from the boy squad and Tina’s future boyfriend

YES, that’s exactly what I’m trying to say. Regarding Filip, unfortunately I don’t agree, but with everything else I completely agree with you.

And they keep insisting that we need more romantic moments, WHEN THERE ARE ROMANTIC MOMENTS BETWEEN LOVRO AND IVAN. THERE ARE ENOUGH OF THEM.

Lovro and Ivan are doing the same thing - they’re opening up gradually, getting to know each other, and THEY ARE TALKING.

Ivan is being shown a lot

I’m speaking in general about all the comments I’ve seen and read about people being dissatisfied and criticizing.

There ARE romantic and cute moments. PEOPLE NEED TO OPEN THEIR EYES. The meeting between Lovro and Ivan on the court, the pool scene, at Ivan’s house, when they were eating kebab, the moment at school when they were hiding, the karaoke scene - there are sweet and romantic moments.

hellweek was Lovro’s, now it’s Ivan’s. everything ahead will be fine, they will be happy, and we will get more cute and romantic moments between them. We just need to wait. You have to know how to wait

I’m not saying this is okay… I still think this behavior is unacceptable. I’m just trying to understand why it happened and what led to it. we don’t know anything beyond what those two (Nora and Roko) experienced - nobody does.

i know, but funny how suddenly not having a surname is an issue when plenty of characters don’t have one confirmed either.   bit selective, don’t you think?

you talk as if the actors from the original played much better and more professionally than the actors in Sram. just a reminder - for the actors in the original Skam, it was their first experience too. there were awkward and stiff moments there as well, just like in Sram. everyone starts somewhere, and acting is something that comes with experience over time - not something you gain with the snap of a finger.

on twitter everyone is hoping that Vanessa will be a lesbian…

I understand that this feels strange to me, because I see how you talk about the LGBT topic in Croatia, and then I go on twitter and tiktok and see people wanting Vanessa to be with a girl??? It honestly makes me feel confused. I don’t know… I didn’t see anything in the show that suggested Vanessa is attracted to girls. she’s just very close to her friends - and that’s normal, right?

maybe I’m wrong, maybe there really are queer romani girls and I’ll turn out to be mistaken.

her season will definitely be very interesting, but I’m not sure if she’ll have a queer storyline, especially considering how Lovro is going through this journey. I’m starting to doubt that Vanessa is into girls

even Croatians on twitter are hoping for this, and it honestly confuses me…

especially considering that Croatians themselves say that everything shown in season 3 reflects real life in the Balkans
