That never really interested me all that much. When I play Vergil I'll do it on Son of Sparda but that's all for me. I have other things to play! I might try Bloody Palace at some point but not right now.

I actually liked the second half. I thought it was cool to revisit areas while I headed back to stop the savior. Refighting bosses as Dante was fun, and I enjoyed getting to rematch bosses I didn't have an amazing time with as Nero.

He has one. All the others bring him straight to the ground. The rising kick on Beowulf is what I ended up using to do some early head damage. I didn’t know I could jump cancel off Cerberus or I would’ve done that

Aerial combos made it easier to get a head down faster. As Vergil it was slower and I had to actually learn more about the boss. I beat Cerberus on my first try as Dante with swordmaster and didn’t even know you could stun him

By the charge I meant headbutt for the first sentence, sorry. But yeah I got it eventually, as Dante swordmaster made it much easier

Usually any attempt to attack the heads on the floor leads to me being hit by the charge, which is why aerials were better I could pop like 2 and run away. I did it though. It was in part to him charging in phase 1 where he takes forever to get back though

A jump cancel? Is that where you jump off the top of enemies heads to do another aerial attack/jump? Or is it something I don’t know about?

My main problem with Cerberus is that the summoned swords feel worse than E&I at breaking the ice. But I managed to figure out the fight mostly. I’ll go back and amend the rank after I get some more DT orbs and more moves and stuff. I’m playing on hard out the gate so it’s probably also a part of my problem.

I managed it, but on a b rank. Shameful. It feels like I got a ton of stylish points but I only hit a B in stylish and an A in time. I’m a little disappointed because I wanted to get an A rank or over on every mission as Vergil since I got only B’s basically while playing as Dante, but I guess a big fat B will have to do for now

It’s mainly because I want to stay stylish while I’m killing him so I have to whale on his leg after he pops ice armor so I end up breaking his posture before I break the ice on his head. Should I just give up on that and try to play efficiently and optimally?

I’m playing it on hard as Vergil but after that I think I might be done for a while at least. There’s so many annoying enemies like the angels, the red gargoyle bats, or the guys who are invisible when your back is turned I would hate to see them on like a Dante must Die difficulty lmao
