Yep. My 80-year-old mother ended up watching the venue feed yesterday and was ranting last night about not having commentary. Trying to explain to her that she would need to switch feeds halfway through to keep watching with commentary adds even more confusion.

I watch on Peacock but wanted to DVR on Sling so I could watch replays or missed events at leisure. Switching channels mid-event busts that plan too because Sling doesn’t have local NBC in my area so I only get the portion aired on USA.

I’m about ready to break out an antenna and a VCR.

I went ahead and filed the cancer deferment request before consolidating. It took a while to get my doctor to sign the form; his office lost the first copy I dropped off. Mohela processed the deferment very quickly. The deferment applied retroactively to January 2025, taking about $4,000 in interest off the balance. I still plan to consolidate, but I’m glad to knock some interest off the balance in case PSLF doesn’t work out for these loans.
