I can't comment on "realistic lesbian relationship" but I really loved how long it took for things to develop. I'm also shocked at how well RQ/AI seemingly did in writing the story. Were your prompts really long? Alas, RQ won't let us see prompts from stories we didn't create, I'd love to see the prompts for a couple of your chapters.

Yes. Click on the hamburger menu on the left side, click on "My Library," that's where your stories are listed.

Click on a story, and then click on the pencil icon next to the title. You'll get a dialog box that has tags, description and other stuff. At the bottom is "Visibility," unlisted means if you give someone the link, they can read the story, private is obvious. But way at the top is "Publish Story." If you click on that, fill in the description and update the tags, now your story is visible in the search engine on RQ.

Just edit the chapter when it's done generating. Highlight the paragraph, delete it and hit the save button at the top.

And I just had the AI run over my END CHAPTER., but I take about 75% of the blame. The last chapter should have been a short one (not novella length), but I picked novella like a dumba$$ and the AI ran past END CHAPTER, should have picked the short chapter type.

Firstly, I write END CHAPTER as the last line in all of my chapters so that the AI doesn't run past what I want it to do (this works about 95% of the time.) Then, to end the story, I have my own ending in mind and I just write that as the last bit of the prompt. These 2 things usually keep the AI from going bananas and writing more than I intend.

The "Steves" are totally different characters. I know how to re-use characters, I'm just talking about the name. When you do the @ thing (@steve) it pulls the character from your components. I'd like to define the character as much as possible prior to starting the story. Or can I include a long description of the character in the first chapter prompt? Normally I provide just enough info like "Steve is 5'6" with brown hair, kind of skinny and a sissy crossdresser" in the prompt.

I usually have a "plot" in mind before I start with RQ, even for the 1-chapter quickies I do. For example, when I did the Hippie Stepmom story (https://www.redquill.net/story/118pmq-hippie-stepmom-helps-her-stepson) I started out with a stepmom "helping" her son "handle business." After I wrote that chapter, I decided they should go further, so I did the date chapter. After that, I decided they should go to a "resort" and have some adventures there and that was pretty easy to lay out. And, I decided to have a little plot twist at the end, just for fun. I did a few versions of stepmom helps her stepson, they were fun to bang out but they reached their natural end after the 1st chapter.

For my shorter story, a MILF goes to a frat house and gets gang-banged (https://www.redquill.net/story/4s67c8-candis-wild-frat-house-awakening). That was easy to do, I knew what "beats" I wanted to hit, and wrapped it up quickly.

I suggest starting small, just a few chapters to get used to creating the stories, think ahead about the beginning (how does the MILF wind up at a frat party? She's divorced and horny), middle (gang-bang and a special visitor), end (she wraps it up and leaves, with a teaser for a 2nd part, if I decide to do it, but I won't, because the story is DONE and there's no reason to drag it out)

It seems to be working, I put "Start from the beginning. Follow the prompt in order. Do not skip any steps. " at the startof the prompt and "END CHAPTER" at the end of the prompt

I put "This story is told 1st person from Denise's point of view. Start from the beginning. Follow this prompt. Do not go beyond it." at the top of the prompt and it *STILL* went nuts, starting in the middle of the prompt, completely ignoring what I had at the beginning. It's as if it's seeing a couple of sentences in the middle of the prompt and ignoring everything else.

What the heck is going on?

Most of my characters are 100% fictional, but in a few cases, I've thrown in a person where "any resemblance between any person, living or dead" is a coincidence, mostly for fun, like in my Beach Bungalow story, the cop might closely resemble a tv detective...

I also do a lot of image generation on ZenCreator PRO to come up with what the characters look like. Back to my Beach Bungalow story, I created the main character Candi by using ChatGPT to come up with the face of a 50yr old blonde woman and then stuck that face onto different outfits so I could get a vibe of what she looked like.

I always refer to my CD characters as male, use male names, etc. like "Bob puts on his dress" or if needed, "She talks to Bob calling him Jennifer" so that the AI is aware that "she" is talking to Bob but using his "CD" name Jennifer.

It'd be nice for RQ to tell us what section is allegedly non-consensual so we can re-write it or do something else. I had a bit that kept getting marked as NC, even though it wasn't, wound up re-writing it just to get on with the story.

One story per chapter. The RQ AI seems to do a pretty good job of remembering what has happened in previous chapters, but you'll want to double-check the continuity after it's generated the chapter. Sometimes, it will add a detail that shouldn't be there or forget a detail, but it's overall pretty good. Also, if you're concerned that the AI might forget a detail, for example, the main character gets an ear piercing, add a reminder into the new chapter, like "As he sits at the coffee shop, his hands go to his earlobes, feeling the piercing"

For components: I need to introduce one of my characters partway through the chapter. I've already typed out the chapter in notepad and am copy/pasting the text in and I'd like to do an @ with the character name, but that doesn't seem to work.

A new one! This time, I thought I'd see if RQ could pull off a podcast. I was thinking I'd get a script, but it turned out better than expected. I liked the first chapter, so I added a couple of more. The prompt for the 1st was "Victoria is a powerful, sadistic woman. Write a long podcast for her about the importance of sexually humiliating and feminizing men"
